She's a Lady is a million-selling gold-certified hit song written by Paul Anka and performed by Tom Jones, and released at the beginning of 1971. It is Jones' highest-charting single in the U.S. to date (and his final Billboard Top Ten hit), hitting #1 in Cash Box magazine for a week and spending one week at #2 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Anka rewrote the first verse of the song (recorded with Jones) for his 2013 Duets album, because he disliked its chauvinistic sentiments.

The songs was also a #4 hit on the US Billboard Easy Listening chart.[4] Billboard ranked it as the No. 25 song for 1971.[5]

    Lyrics:
Well, she's all you'd ever want
She's the kind I like to flaunt and take to dinner
But she always knows her place
    She's got style, she's got grace, she's a winner
    She's a lady
Oh, whoa, whoa, she's a lady
    Talkin' about that little lady
    And the lady is mine
Well, she's never in the way
Always something nice to say, and what a blessin'
I can leave her on her own
Knowin' she's okay alone and there's no messin'
    She's a lady
Oh, whoa, whoa, she's a lady
    Talkin' about that little lady
    And the lady is mine
Well, she never asks very much
    And I don't refuse her
    Always treat her with respect
    I never would abuse her
What she's got is hard to find
And I don't want to lose her
    Help me build a mountain
From a little pile of clay, hey hey hey
Well, she knows what I'm about
She can take what I dish out, and that's not easy
But she knows me through and through
And she knows just what to do and how to please me
    She's a lady
Oh, whoa, whoa, she's a lady
    Talkin' about that little lady
    And the lady is mine
Yeah, yeah, yeah, she's a lady
Oh, whoa, whoa, she's a lady
Listen to me people she's a lady
Yeah yeah yeah yeah she's a lady
Whoa whoa whoa she's a lady
    Talkin' about the little lady
whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa
    She's a lady
Yeah yeah yeah she's a lady
Whoa whoa lord, she's a lady
    I can't live without that
    She's a lady
    Ooh ooh she's a lady

Elvis Aaron Presley (January 8, 1935 – August 16, 1977) was an American singer, musician, and actor. Regarded as one of the most significant cultural icons of the 20th century, he is often referred to as the King of Rock and Roll or simply the King.

Presley was born in Tupelo, Mississippi, and relocated to Memphis, Tennessee with his family when he was 13 years old. His music career began there in 1954, when he recorded a song with producer Sam Phillips at Sun Records. Accompanied by guitarist Scotty Moore and bassist Bill Black, Presley was an early popularizer of rockabilly, an uptempo, backbeat-driven fusion of country music and rhythm and blues. Presley later added drummer D.J. Fontana to complete the band's lineup. Elvis also popularized the four-man group of guitars, bass, and drums. Presley also added gospel, blues, and pop influences into his rock and roll/rockabilly sound. RCA Victor acquired his contract in a deal arranged by Colonel Tom Parker, who managed the singer for more than two decades. Presley's first RCA single, Heartbreak Hotel, was released in January 1956 and became a number-one hit in the United States. After a series of successful network television appearances and chart-topping records, he was regarded as the leading figure of rock and roll. His energized interpretations of songs and sexually provocative performance style, combined with a singularly potent mix of influences across color lines that coincided with the dawn of the Civil Rights Movement, made him enormously popular—and controversial.

In November 1956, Presley made his film debut in Love Me Tender. In 1958, he was drafted into military service. He resumed his recording career two years later, producing some of his most commercially successful work before devoting much of the 1960s to making Hollywood films and their accompanying soundtrack albums, most of which were critically derided. In 1968, following a seven-year break from live performances, he returned to the stage in the acclaimed televised comeback special Elvis, which led to an extended Las Vegas concert residency and a string of highly profitable tours. In 1973, Presley featured in the first globally broadcast concert via satellite, Aloha from Hawaii. On August 16, 1977, he suffered a heart attack in his Graceland estate, and died as a result. His death came in the wake of an accidental prescription drug overdose. Presley is one of the most celebrated and influential musicians of the 20th century. Commercially successful in many genres, including pop, blues and gospel, he is one of the best-selling artists in the history of recorded music, with estimated record sales of around 600 million units worldwide. He won three Grammys, also receiving the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award at age 36, and has been inducted into multiple music halls of fame.

  • Love Me Tonight

It's about time I got to doing something by Tom Jones. I'm not ashamed at all to say he was my idol growing up and to this day, I am a huge fan. When I was a kid starting out singing, I tried to emulate him. I know so many of his songs, it isn't funny. Hope to do more for you all, if you like this.

As for how I made this ... I created the background instruments (drums, piano, bass) in Jammer with lots of editing. Played all the horns with Roland GR-33 guitar synthesizer. And added the electrics at the end for a personal modern touch. Hope it sounds okay.

    For Indonesian girl's grandma! ;)
