  • Jurassic Park 3- Spinosaurus Theme

    9:11

Despite whatever opinions people have regarding the third Jurassic installment, Spinosaurus is without a doubt one of the best things of it. It is an aggressive creature, a prototype hybrid to the more perfected Indoraptor prototype, the Indominus rex. As dangerous as it is, there is a sort of mystery surrounding this illegal creature and it is said to be a super predator, one tat can can cause a mass extinction across the island of Sorna...

It wasn't easy making this custom suite, since almost all of the music that has the Spinosaurus leitmotif is action oriented but I did my best to make a seamless experience.I'm not a big fan of this movie's soundtrack but I must say that it has some great pieces here and there...

Hope you guys enjoy the video and remember to like, comment, and subscribe!

  • Jurassic World: Even Baby Indominus Rex Is Terifying

    3:06

As proverbial pools of water ripple with tremors from the imminently approaching assault of Jurassic World, the towering terror anticipated from the now-mythical Indominus Rex continues to reach epic proportions. This time, a new TV clip ominously juxtaposes her evil egg emergence with the carnivorous carnage she’ll inevitably unleash on unprepared park dwellers.

Right from the onset of this new Jurassic World clip, we see a little lizard-like tyke emerging from an eggshell with disturbing rapidity and frighteningly focused intent. It’s bad enough that the I. Rex is the ultimate of ultimate apex predators, but it seems that she came into this world with the subtlety of Rosemary’s Baby. Even the velociraptors in the first Jurassic Park had an adorable phase after they emerged cooing from their amniotic encasement. By contrast, Indominus Rex clearly has no time for any of that cutesy crap. Right from the get-go, it’s coming at us with killer claws and a pissed off grimace. Time’s a wasting and there’s people that need eating!

The clip’s marvelous montage uses I. Rex’s infant emergence for some fantastic foreshadowing of the wreckage she will reek upon paid patrons and other personnel of a park that seems to somehow exist despite not one, not two, but THREE notable incidents involving John Hammond’s petri-dish-dinosaurs. However, based on what we’ve been seeing, things have apparently been running relatively smooth in the business of containing life that’s not meant to be contained at the rebranded Jurassic World. However, an apparent slump in attendance would cause the scientists to utilize new technology and knowledge to create an even more fearsome feature in the I. Rex; proving that, as Dr. Ian Malcom once observed, life found a way.

The byproduct of corporate hubris and a team of scientists with more knowledge than common sense, the I. Rex will apparently be touted as the center of a sensational new exhibit in the park, contained in a massive cage fitted with high-perched seats for patrons to gawk at her a she does miscellaneous scary things. However, this being a film in the Jurassic series, we pretty much know the only way this could conceivably play itself out. Soon enough, as we see in the clip, that cracking egg we saw might as well had been Pandora’s Box, itself.

On the upside, it seems that the good guys will be a little more prepared for this inevitably jail-broken walking set of jaws. As the last TV clip for the film helpfully revealed, Chris Pratt’s master tracker/domesticator of dinosaurs, Owen Grady is on the case. It appears that he won’t even need Awesome Mix Vol. 1 to quell the beasts in his care, three velociraptors named Charlie, Echo and Blue. By some magnificent miracle, Grady will be working side-by-side with this threesome of throat-slashers to track down the I. Rex and… do something. It’s an unholy alliance that would probably piss off Dr. Alan Grant, but new times apparently call for new measures.

Jurassic World will make you hope that the only interesting thing to come out of your next egg is a double yolk when it hits theaters on June 12!

  • Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom- Indoraptor Theme

    11:50

Hey guys! Long time no see.

I've been busy lately and I've been relatively hyped for the new
Jurassic World movie. So, I've basically been listening to the soundtrack nonstop and I've really come to love the Indoraptor's theme. Personally, I think that the Indoraptor's them is the best part of he entire soundtrack (the soundtrack in general is much better than the first Jurassic World in my opinion). I get this Frankenstein-ish/Alien vibe listening to the Hybrid's theme, but there is a sense of tragedy behind this monstrosity. Some parts sorta remind me of Darth Ninilus' theme from Knights of the Old Republic 2's soundtrack.
Anyways, I did my best to compile the Indoraptor's theme into one singular suite for your viewing pleasure. I honestly think it turned out pretty good.

  • The Disgusting Jurassic World Scene That Got Cut

    2:28

Riding a wave of early buzz, Jurassic World should expect an impressive reception when it hits theaters tomorrow. However, there is one side-splitting scene that moviegoers will miss out on. It seems that one crass bit of comic relief which had our lead characters down in the dumps was cut due to pacing issues.

Of course, not knowing the specific, other than an apparent smearing of shit, it’s difficult to objectively conclude if the decision to leave the scene in question on the cutting room floor was justifiable. Sometimes a well-placed lowbrow joke can go a long way, magnified by the apparent inappropriateness of the timing. Yet, as disappointed as Howard seems to be that the hilarious scene in question failed to make the final cut, she isn’t surprised, and even seems to agree with the move. In that case, we might venture to guess that it’s a case of too much humor detracting from the survival element that is central to the film.

However, the Jurassic Park series is no stranger to poo humor. Who can ever forget the scene in the first film involving a sick triceratops and what Dr. Ian Malcom hilariously refers to as one big pile of shit? Plus, the generally underwhelming Jurassic Park III managed to leave at least leave one indelible memory in the minds of moviegoers when Dr. Grant and the group hilariously leaf through a nasty, squishy, clearly smelly pile of Spinosaurus scat to recover a consumed character’s satellite phone. It's such a sickening scene that it even managed to gross-out the passing Ceratosaurus, who would have attacked them had it not been so repulsed. Yet, those instances seemed to accommodate the film’s pacing.

Thus, it seems that longtime fans of the Jurassic Park series have apparently been denied what would have been the latest iteration of a somewhat loose tradition: the obligatory poo piece. However, according to Howard, the scene was part of Colin Trevorrow’s original vision for the film, which in all likelihood gives it a good chance to wind up shoveled onto the Blu-ray sometime down the line.

In the meantime, you can expect Jurassic World, with its frightening new genetic hybrid dinosaur, Indominus Rex, to drum up more than its fair share of dung, courtesy of the hapless tourists running from the creature in sheer mortal terror. The epic franchise re-launch hits theaters tomorrow.

Though it doesn't appear in the finished film, bits of the poo humor do show up in the marketing for Jurassic World, including this TV spot.

  • Dino Attack OST: Injection

    11:05

EDIT 1: Now officially official/original (one or the other? Both? I guess that works) soundtrack of the Dino Attack RPG. The fourth, I think. Woo.

Here we are again. It's always such a pleasure.

Here I am again with another mixing of music. This one is, in fact, not apart of the other thing I posted forever (I've only now going back through and fixing some kinks). Though the subject matter remains the same: Dino Attack RPG and Zachary's (not me Zach but a character Zach's) exploits on Adventurers' Island.

This could be a prelude to that other thing I'm working on. This represents one of Zach's many trips through the XERRD Fortress on Adventurers' Island, this time in the thick of battle between XERRD and Dino Attack.

The idea to create this mostly came from listening to Ayreon's new album The Theory of Everything (a concept album with, if you know what the ToE is, science/physics undertones.) Listening to the entirely orchestral track String Theory over and over again inspired me to throw this together. In contrast to the other mix, this one is more electronic and ambient in nature due to the sciency nature of XERRD.

Also I took to using tracks featured in VezonWireless's Dino Attack Official Soundtrack to represent certain scenes (The Professor's Theme for XERRD, Beach Dead for the battle in general, etc.)

I mostly like how this turned out, but of course, I thought some parts could have been executed better. Comments/Praise/Criticism welcome.

0:00 - 0:35 acts as the prelude; setting the stage. The Dino Attack is assaulting XERRD's fort deep within the jungles of Adventurers' Island. In the midst of this attack, Zachary Virchaus joins the offense in his Urban Avenger...

0:36 - 4:15 ...and promptly crashes it into the fortress. He feigns death to a guard before killing him, taking his uniform, and racing into the fortress. He rushes through the fortress as his allies fight against XERRD only to...

4:16 - 6:08 ...bump into Doctor Carolyne Provencal, a high ranking scientist in XERRD's ranks. This section (and the next) more or less acts as the theme of Carolyne Provencal. Its mysterious opening is contrasted when Provencal suddenly appears to mean no harm. She guides Zach to her lab and...

6:09 - 8:30 ...drops her Nice Gal ruse with the meaningful appearance of Caroline Deleted and The Professor's Theme XERRD's evil theme. She threatens to inject Zachary with the Maelstrom. He attempts to fight back, but is surprisingly overwhelmed by the scientist. The fight and the moments leading up to the titular injection are represented by String Theory accompanied by Transformation, a lighter, single violin version of the String Theory melody. String Theory (along with Side Effects, to an extent) act as the single song/leitmotif of Carolyne Provencal.

8:31 - 11:02 The Maelstrom was injected into Zach bloodstream. He is released by Provencal and rushes out of the fortress, only to be goaded by two guards mocking his fight. He kills the two before fleeing into the jungle alone to prevent himself from causing any harm.
