    Never reaching the end,
    Letters Ive written,
    Never meaning to send.

    Beauty Id always missed
    With these eyes before,
    Just what the truth is
    I cant say anymore.

    cause I love you,
    Yes, I love you,
    Oh, how, I love you.

    Gazing at people,
    Some hand in hand,
    Just what Im going thru
    They can understand.

    Some try to tell me
    Thoughts they cannot defend,
Just what you want to be
You will be in the end,

    And I love you,
    Yes, I love you,
    Oh, how, I love you.

Moody Blues ~ You and Me

    4:37

One of their greatest songs off the Seventh Sojourn album.

There's a leafless tree in Asia
Under the sun there's a homeless man
There's a forest fire in the valley
    Where the story all began

What will be our last thought?
Do you think it's coming soon?
    Will it be a comfort
Or the pain of a burning wound?

All we are trying to say
Is we are all we've got
You and me just cannot fail
    If we never, never stop

You're an ocean full of faces
And you know that we believe
We're just a wave that drifts around you
Singing all our hopes and dreams
    We look around in wonder
At the work that has been done
By the visions of our father
    Touched by his loving son

All we are trying to say
Is we are all we've got
You and me just cannot fail
    If we never, never stop
All we are trying to say
Is we are all we've got
You and me just cannot fail
    If we never, never stop
You and me just cannot fail
If we never, ever, never, ever stop...

Moody Blues - Your wildest Dreams 1986

Moody Blues - Your wildest Dreams 1986

    Once upon a time
    Once when you were mine
    I remember skies
    Reflected in your eyes
    I wonder where you are
    I wonder if you
    Think about me
    Once upon a time
    In your wildest dreams

    Once the world was new
Our bodies felt the morning dew
That greets the brand new day
    We couldn't tear ourselves away
    I wonder if you care
I wonder if you still remember
    Once upon a time
    In your wildest dreams

    And when the music plays
    And when the words are
    Touched with sorrow
    When the music plays
    I hear the sound
    I had to follow
    Once upon a time

    Once beneath the stars
    The universe was ours
    Love was all we knew
And all I knew was you
    I wonder if you know
I wonder if you think about it
    Once upon a time
    In your wildest dreams

    (Instrumental)

    And when the music plays
    And when the words are
    Touched with sorrow
    When the music plays
    And when the music plays
    I hear the sound
    I had to follow
    Once upon a time

    Once upon a time
    Once when you were mine
    I remember skies
    Mirrored in your eyes
    I wonder where you are
    I wonder if you
    Think about me
    Once upon a time
    In your wildest dreams

The Moody Blues - Gemini Dream

    4:10

This is Gemini Dream by UK progressive rock band The Moody Blues. Released in 1981 it was the first hit single from their UK & US number 1 album Long Distance Voyager. The song was written by vocalist band members Justin Hayward & John Lodge.

Long Distance Voyager was a Moody Blues album released in 1981, and was their first with keyboardist Patrick Moraz in place of original keyboardist Mike Pinder.

After the completion of the 1978 album Octave, Pinder decided against touring with the Moody Blues to promote the album, so the group replaced him with former Yes keyboardist Moraz. The band then waited three years before releasing a new album, the longest gap between Moody Blues albums since the group went on hiatus after the release of Seventh Sojourn in 1972.

Long Distance Voyager is only partially a concept album, as only half of the songs relate to a travelling referred to in the album's title. The final three tracks comprise a mini-suite that combines themes of carnival jesters and the chaos experienced backstage at a rock show.

Upon release in 1981, Long Distance Voyager became the Moody Blues' second U.S. number one album, and was also the source of the top-40 singles The Voice (#15) and Gemini Dream (#12).

    Moody Blues: The Voice

    5:12

    Music of The Moody Blues.

Thank you Moody Blues for such a Beautiful and Wonderful inspiring song!

Thanks to EssentialDegnities for Helping me with the direction! :)

Won't you take me back to school?
I need to learn the golden rule.
Won't you lay it on the line?
I need to hear it just one more time.

Oh, won't you tell me again?
    Oh, can you feel it?
Oh, won't you tell me again tonight?

Each and every heart it seems,
Is bounded by a world of dreams.
    Each and every rising sun,
Is greeted by a lonely one.

Oh, won't you tell me again?
    Oh, can you feel it?
Oh, won't you tell me again tonight?

Cause out on the ocean of life my love.
There a so many storms we must rise above.
Can you hear the spirit calling, as it's carried across the waves?
You're already falling it's calling you back to face the music.
And the song that is coming through.
You're already falling the one that it's calling is you.

My a promise take a vow.
And trust your feelings it easy now.
    Understand The Voice within.
And feel a change already beginning.

Oh, won't you tell me again?
    Oh, can you feel it?
Oh, won't you tell me again tonight? Tonight?

Oh, won't you tell me again?
    Oh, can you feel it?
Oh, won't you tell me again tonight?

And how many words have I got to say?
And how many times will it be this way?
With your arms around the future and your back up against the past.
You're already falling it's calling you on to face the music.
And the song that is coming through.
You're already falling the one that it's calling is you.

Each and every heart it seems,
Is bounded by a world of dreams.
    Each and every rising sun,
Is greeted by, a lonely, lonely one.

    Won't you tell me again?
    Oh, can you feel it?
Oh, won't you tell me again tonight?

To Our Childrens, Childrens, Children- Side One- The Moody Blues

    19:54

Recorded between May and Sept. 1969; To Our Children's Children's Children (including lyrics) is a seminal album, not only in a conceptual sense ( no band was better at concept albums) but, it also displays the bands penchant as secular visionaries.. The Moody Blues captured the phenomenon of space exploration just as man reached the moon for the first time in 1969.
This picture video is side one of that iconic album.

    Inductee Insights: The Moody Blues

    5:39

Progressive rock pioneers turned synthesizer-driven rockers, The Moody Blues have created over 50 years of exhilarating and significant music that has influenced countless musicians and rocked fans around the world.

With the formation of the classic lineup in 1966, featuring Ray Thomas, Mike Pinder, Graeme Edge, John Lodge and Justin Hayward, the band worked with producer Tony Clarke to record the landmark concept album Days Of Future Passed. The record – heavily influenced by the sounds of British psychedelia including late-Beatles and early-Pink Floyd – fused the band’s sound with symphonic orchestrations and spawned the hit singles “Nights In White Satin” and “Tuesday Afternoon”.

More than half a century later, The Moody Blues continue to tour around the world with no signs of slowing down, connecting to multiple generations of one of rock and roll’s most loyal fanbases.

Watch and explore the band's sonic history in our Inductee Insights episode powered by PNC.

    Moody Blues: Candle of Life

    Music of The Moody Blues

    Something you can't hide
    Says you're lonely
    Hidden deep inside
    Of you only
It's there for you to see
    Take a look and be
Burn slowly the candle of life

    Something there outside
    Says we're only
    In the hands of time
    Falling slowly
It's there for us to know
With love that we can go
Burn slowly the candle of life

    So love everybody
    And make them your friend
    So love everybody
    And make them your friend

    Something you can't hide
    Says you're lonely
    Hidden deep inside
    Of you only
It's there for you to see
