  • The Late Great Gary Primich 4/20/1958 - 9/23/2007 RIP

    5:45

    I'm A Nervous Fellow.
Gary Primich. Gone too soon, way too soon.
He changed his oil every 3000 miles.
You'll never hear a tighter band.
Blacktop Records Recording Artist, Flying Fish Records Recording Artist, Antones Records Recording Artist and Amazing Records Recording Artist, Blues harp master Gary Primich fills the air around South Austin with soul, from the soul, for the soul, at Jo's Coffee House on South Congress Avenue First Thursday March 1st, 2007.
Where else but Austin, Texas? Nowhere man, that was a rhetorical question.

Jim Starboard Drums, Dave Wesselowski Bass, Nick Curran Guitar.

He changed his oil every 3000 miles
Gary Primich Promo designed to honor this twenty five year veteran of the National Blues Circuit. I worked with Gary for a brief while right before he went full time with music a quarter of a century ago. He went from installing electrical to electrifying audiences all over the world in no time flat. Here's to you Gary, Austin loves you. These pictures are all from the web or and the soundtrack is Nervous Fellow from my YouTube video of Gary by the same name. Gary has a new CD called Ridin' the Dark Horse, available now. Look for it and watch all of my Gary Primich Videos. He's a cool blues singer even when he's not blowing the harp.
Amazon.com has all of Gary's CDs and some cassettes, check it out.
Jim Starboard Drums, Dave Wesselowski Bass, Nick Curran Guitar.
Gary died suddenly on September 23rd,2007 a sad day for blues harmonica fans. My heart is broken.

  • Gary Primich Live at Jos - Pray for a Cloudy Day - Austin Texas mourns

    5:54

Gary Primich, considered by many to be one of the greatest harmonica players in the world, passed away suddenly on September 23rd. Not only is this the loss of a world-class talent, but also of a true world-class person. Offstage, Gary was a caring and gentle soul — a real Regular Joe of the best kind. Onstage he played with a ferocity and indescribable sound that was often mind-blowing. He'd say Thank You to his fans then quickly change the subject because he didn't want it to be all about him. He loved animals, he loved people, he loved music and he loved life. Gary's career sent him around the world, traveling thousands and thousands of miles for his love of music, but he'll always be right here, in our hearts.
