  • The origin of Tatars: Xiongnu, Huns, Göktürks, Great Bulgaria

    5:21

    Andronovo culture: |
Montclair State University professor H. Mark Hubey (1998) concludes that ... The common Turkic branch which includes all the rest can be split into the /c/j/y/ branch and the /x/ġ/w/ branches. Seeing that the 't' to 's' transition is already in Sumerian, and that the Uralic 't' to 's' shift is thought to have occurred 6,000 years ago, we can be reasonably sure that some of the words traced out here certainly belong to quite an ancient age and to the west. This means that the proto-Turks or at least one of their ancestors moved from the Euphrates area north through the Caucasus and then to the steppes, and then eastwards. The historical ‘Turks’ are those moving back towards the west. Since all the branches of Turkic seem to occur in the West (Chuvash, Oguz, Kipchak, Khalaj) there is no reason to look for Turkic homelands beyond the Altays. That was their second home.

  • National Anthem of the Tsardom of Bulgaria - «

    1:22

Shumi Maritsa (Bulgarian: Шуми Марица, pronounced [ʃoˈmi mɐˈritsɐ]) was the Bulgarian national anthem from 1886 until 1947. The music was derived from the German folk song Wenn die Soldaten durch die Stadt marschieren that was very popular in Bulgaria in the mid-19th century. The original text was written by Nikola Zhivkov, a head teacher in Veles (now in the Republic of Macedonia). The lyrics were edited many times, most notably in 1912 by the poet Ivan Vazov. The title refers to the Maritsa river. It literally translates to Maritsa makes noise but the connotation is closer to Maritsa roars.

  • #2 National Anthem of Israel - Nightcore Style With Lyrics

    1:19

NOTE: This is a second version of a previous upload that I did earlier. See it at .

Don't miss out all of my other national anthem lyric videos when you check out my Nightcore National Anthem Lyric Videos Made by Disco Saturn playlist at .

This is a Nightcore mix of the national anthem of Israel - Hatikvah / הַתִּקְוָה - that I edited on Audacity. In other words, I just sped up the audio while also altering the pitch. As a disclaimer I am still showing respect of the anthem while I wrote down the original Hebrew text at the bottom so you can sing along with it. I just think this remix I made sounds great and liked the way it turned out.

  • National Anthem of Yugoslavia -

    1:31

    ●▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ஜ۩ENGLISH۩ஜ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬●
Hey, Slavs is an anthem dedicated to the Slavic peoples. Its lyrics were first written in 1834 under the title Hey, Slovaks (Hej, Slováci) by Samuel Tomášik and it has since served as the anthem of the Pan-Slavic movement, the Sokol physical education and political movement, the SFR Yugoslavia and as the transitional anthem of the State Union of Serbia and Montenegro. The song is also considered to be the unofficial second anthem of the Slovaks. Its melody is based on Poland Is Not Yet Lost, which has also been the anthem of Poland since 1926, but the Yugoslav variation is much slower, more accentuated and does not repeat the last 4 lines as it repeats the last two lines.

In Serbo-Croatian, which used both the Latin and the Cyrillic alphabets, the title Hej, Slaveni was written:

Hej, Slaveni or Hej, Sloveni (in Latin)
Хеј, Славени or Хеј, Словени (in Cyrillic).

In Macedonian the song is Ej, Sloveni (Еј, Словени), and in Slovene, it is Hej, Slovani. The original title in Slovak was Hej, Slováci.
    ●▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ஜ۩SRPSKOHRVATSKI۩ஜ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬●
Danas nije u upotrebi.

  • Unofficial Anthem of the German Empire - Die Wacht am Rhein

    2:45

Die Wacht am Rhein (The Watch/Guard on the Rhine) is a German patriotic anthem. The song's origins are rooted in the historical French–German enmity, and it was particularly popular in Germany during the Franco-Prussian War and the First World War.
In the poem, with five original stanzas, a thunderous call is made for all Germans to rush and defend the German Rhine, to ensure that no enemy sets his foot on the shore of the Rhine (4th stanza). Two stanzas with a more specific text were added by others later. Unlike the older Heil dir im Siegerkranz which praised a monarch, Die Wacht am Rhein and other songs written in this period, such as the Deutschlandlied (the third verse of which is Germany's current national anthem) and Was ist des Deutschen Vaterland? (What is the German's Fatherland?) by Ernst Moritz Arndt, called for Germans to unite, to put aside sectionalism and the rivalries of the various German kingdoms and principalities, to establish a unified German state and defend Germany's territorial integrity.
Die Wacht am Rhein—beside Heil dir im Siegerkranz—was the unofficial second national anthem. The song became famous, and both the composer and the family of the author were honoured and granted an annual pension by Bismarck.

  • The Saint Nicholas Maglizh Monastery

    3:17

The Saint Nicholas Maglizh Monastery (“Saint Nicholas of the Fog Monastery”) is located a mile north of the city Maglizh on the slopes of the Central Balkans, 13 km east of the city Kazanlak and 33 km from the city of Stara Zagora.

The monastery complex includes a church, living quarters, stables, and two chapels – The Saints Peter and Paul Chapel and The Archangel Michael Chapel.

The monastery is recognized by all three of these names: The Saint Nicholas Monastery, The Saints Peter and Paul Monastery, and The Archangel Michael Monastery. The oldest object at the monastery is a censer on which there is a Greek inscription dated 1233, which was during the reign of Tsar Ivan-Asen (reign 1218-1241), so the history of the monastery has some connection with the Second Bulgarian Empire (1185-1393).

After the invasion of the Ottoman Turks during the 14th century, the monastery was often plundered and burned, and then rebuilt.

In 1834, the current church at the monastery was erected, which is a single-nave, single-apse construction without a cupola. A point of interest in the church is that some of the Bulgarian saints depicted by the masters on the church’s icons are wearing traditional Bulgarian clothing.

During the Russo-Turkish war (1877-1888), the Ottomans again set fire to the monastery, but the local residents were able to rebuild it in just a year and a half.

The monastery maintained a school for rug weaving, and it also provided shelter for revolutionaries who fought to liberate the country from the Ottomans. Vasil Levski (1837-1873), known as an apostle of the Bulgarian revolution, stayed at the monastery on several occasions.

In 1922, the monastery was converted into a convent, and there are still a few nuns living on the premises.

The monastery offers accommodations for a few visitors. Reservations should be made in advance. The rooms are basic, without showers or toilets.

There is a trail leading from the monastery to the Vinishki Rock Nature Reserve, where an icon dedicated to The Holy Trinity has been carved into the cliff face.

    4:02

Bulgaria (/bʌlˈɡɛəriə, bʊl-/ (About this sound listen); Bulgarian: България, tr. Bǎlgariya), officially the Republic of Bulgaria (Bulgarian: Република България, tr. Republika Bǎlgariya, pronounced [rɛˈpublikɐ bɐɫˈɡarijɐ]), is a country in southeastern Europe. It is bordered by Romania to the north, Serbia and Macedonia to the west, Greece and Turkey to the south, and the Black Sea to the east. With a territory of 110,994 square kilometres (42,855 sq mi), Bulgaria is Europe's 16th-largest country.

Organised prehistoric cultures began developing on current Bulgarian lands during the Neolithic period. Its ancient history saw the presence of the Thracians, Greeks, Persians, Celts, Romans, Goths, Alans and Huns. The emergence of a unified Bulgarian state dates back to the establishment of the First Bulgarian Empire in 681 AD, which dominated most of the Balkans and functioned as a cultural hub for Slavs during the Middle Ages. With the downfall of the Second Bulgarian Empire in 1396, its territories came under Ottoman rule for nearly five centuries. The Russo-Turkish War of 1877–78 led to the formation of the Third Bulgarian State. The following years saw several conflicts with its neighbours, which prompted Bulgaria to align with Germany in both world wars. In 1946 it became a one-party socialist state as part of the Soviet-led Eastern Bloc. In December 1989 the ruling Communist Party allowed multi-party elections, which subsequently led to Bulgaria's transition into a democracy and a market-based economy.

Bulgaria's population of 7.2 million people is predominantly urbanised and mainly concentrated in the administrative centres of its 28 provinces. Most commercial and cultural activities are centred on the capital and largest city, Sofia. The strongest sectors of the economy are heavy industry, power engineering, and agriculture, all of which rely on local natural resources.

The country's current political structure dates to the adoption of a democratic constitution in 1991. Bulgaria is a unitary parliamentary republic with a high degree of political, administrative, and economic centralisation. It is a member of the European Union, NATO, and the Council of Europe; a founding state of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE); and has taken a seat at the UN Security Council three times

  • dPen - Vasanizome - Sound Avenue

    6:56

In March of 2012 Sound Avenue announced it's first remix contest for dPen's 'Vasanizome'. It was the next logical step for a label that had built a extremely strong reputation over a short period of time. It was quite an attractive contest because not only did you get the opportunity to remix a well established artist like dPen (who has appeared on Hope and Afterglow)but the winners remix would also appear alongside a Chris Fortier remix on the final package. Needless to say the competition was a huge success and generated even more hype around the young Belgian label. When the smoke cleared Argentina's Matias Chilano was announced the winner with Blazar's Cinematic Rework taking second place; both of which will accompanying Chris Fortier's mix on the release.

dPen's original leads the package off and it marks the Greek producer's second appearance on the label. His moody, brooding and gorgeously trippy masterpiece 'Perpetuum' was released in January of this year and 'Vasanizome' is more than a worthy fallow up. Complete with a rumbling low end, waves of clattering percussion, morphing hypnotic tones and melancholic, thought provoking melodic lines this has to go down as one of dPen's most well crafted compositions to date.

Chris Fortier should really need no introduction, the subject of our artist spotlight this week has released several EPs and remixes that musically spreads comfortably across labels such as Bedrock, Wave Music, Cocoon, Kompakt and Get Physical. For his 'Vasanizome' interpretation Chris has delivered the perfect complement to dPen's big and full sounding original. It's a much more stripped and tightly compacted techno groove from Chris with a wonderfully warped sounding bass line that pushes the track forward with great momentum. Chris has managed to incorporate the many atmospheric and melodic elements from the original but in a much more restrained and subtle fashion which really allows the composition to breathe and opens it up for a wide assortment of techno DJs to play.

Contest winner Matias Chilano is next and getting to appear on Sound Avenue would have to be one of the Argentinean producers biggest accomplishments thus far in his career. For his 'Vasanizome' interpretation Matias has turned in a mix that's rich in atmosphere and deep contemporary progressive vibes. Set to the backdrop of a gaseous, swirling canvas Matias' groovy bass lines, wavering melodic tones and poignant drums have resulted in a profoundly cool vibe that's certainly his best production to date.

Closing the package out is Stanislav Tanov aka Blazar. This is the Bulgarian producers first ever release and he rounds out and complements the package tremendously with an electronica interpretation. Filled with clever broken beat patterns, unique fills and a gorgeous cinematic soundscape that would serve quite nicely as a film score with the beats stripped away. The future looks bright for this new up and comer and we hope to see many more productions from him in 2012. A fabulous package from Sound Avenue once again and a very worthy contest winning remix from Matias Chilano. The 3rd through 6th place finishers (Soil K, Alberto Blanco & Matias Vila, Beat Syndrome) in the competition were also incredibly strong so look for an additional package later in the year with those!

    THOMAS BERGERSEN

B est-selling composer Thomas Bergersen was born and raised in Trondheim, Norway. By the age of 6 it was obvious that Thomas had little interest in playing existing music, but would rather come up with something himself, much to the dismay of his piano teacher. Fast forward some decades and Thomas' compositions have been featured in some of the biggest motion picture campaigns in the world, such as Avatar, Pirates of the Caribbean, Twilight, Narnia, Harry Potter, Da Vinci Code, The Mummy, The Dark Knight and 100s more. He co-owns a company called Two Steps From Hell with his partner, Nick Phoenix which produces music for motion picture advertisement campaigns. Thomas' extensive and highly specialized knowledge of digital orchestration and sample libraries, combined with his musicality puts him at the top of the world in his craft. In 2011, Thomas released his first public album titled Illusions, which has been a huge hit, reaching number one in the iTunes world music charts both internationally and in the United States. I'm a kid! I don't like being told what to do, and music is the only place I know where I can roam free and do what I want. It is my fortress of solitude and only I have the key. His music with Two Steps From Hell has also been a huge hit, reaching both first and second place in the iTunes classical sections with the albums Invincible and Archangel. Thomas has worked with some of the best musicians in the industry and continues to break new ground with his innovative composition style. His next album, the follow up to Illusions is expected to be done some time in 2013. The reason it takes so long to produce an album like this is because out of 10 pieces I write, only one or two will make the cut, and then the process to embellish it with live orchestra, singers and instrumentalists begins, which can last for months. It's all about finding the right voice for the right music, the right instrument for the right melody, the right length, sound color, orchestration, lyrics etc. It takes a long time, and the process is very different from writing film music where you typically just follow something on-screen, or in a band where you have your guitars, bass, drums, vocals and maybe a synth. The complexity of the soundscape means more things can go wrong, clash, or otherwise make the process difficult. You are sometimes dealing with polar opposites, but just because we've been told that certain things don't go well together I don't see that as a reason to avoid it, but a challenge rather. The satisfaction for me ultimately lies in untangling the mess and making all the individual chaotic parts come together in harmony somehow. That's when I feel like I've done a good job.

    Letra:
    Brasil, ó rincão querido,
    Invejado pelo mundo novo,
    Destruído estava seu futuro,
    Porque pretendiam dominar seu povo.
    Surgiu Getúlio Vargas,
    O grande chefe brasileiro,
    Que entre seus filhos
Como um herói foi o primeiro.

    Ainda temos na memória
    Esse traço de patriotismo.
    Hoje tens nome na história
Na emergência de tão negro abismo.
    Porque existia em seu seio,
    Entre os valores verdadeiros,
    Getúlio Vargas, que veio
Mostrar ser o Brasil dos brasileiros!

    Brasil, ó rincão querido,
    Invejado pelo mundo novo,
    Destruído estava seu futuro,
    Porque pretendiam dominar seu povo.
    Surgiu Getúlio Vargas,
    O grande chefe brasileiro,
    Que entre seus filhos
Como um herói foi o primeiro.

    Release Promo Review

Gux Jimenez returns to Clubsonica Records for his debut EP entitled 'Remanente | Raices'. Hailing from Cartagena, the Colombian artist first appeared on the Colombian imprint in February of this year with a remix of 'Traumtanz' by Movemé. Laying claim to releases on Droid9, Ghost Digital, Nueva and Round Triangle, Gux's emotive creations have also found favour with some of the world's most highly regarded DJs, most notably Above and Beyond and Armin Van Buuren. Now embarking on the most anticipated release of his career, Gux returns to Clubsonica with his first original project alongside remixes from Dabeat and Stan Kolev.

Beginning with 'Remanente' Gux's musical prowess becomes readily apparent as he crafts a stunning blend of pulsating rhythms and hypnotic themes. Built around a romping, funk filled groove it's the astral motifs which eventually grab a hold of you. Smooth yet exhilarating, its poignant themes evolve subtly into a wall of electric arps and ghostly pads. A well-crafted break is the icing on the cake as a cinematic, almost spooky tension begins rising. Sure to capture the full attention of your dance floor it sets the stage for a colossal build and euphoric lead to complete the final act. The companion piece 'Raices' proves to be the perfect complement with its wonky, modern flare. Its warm, punchy beats and spacious groove command a big presence at the outset, before a kaleidoscopic theme quickly takes you into hypnotic territory. Complementary harmonic drifts play off the esoteric motifs, eventually reaching an emotive apex during a short but timely break, paving the way for an exhilarating finale.

The lone interpretation of 'Remanente' is provided by Dabeat who returns to the label for his second appearance. The Colombian artist and B4U Records label boss is one of his country's most exciting progressive house talents. Whether producing solo or with frequent studio partner Kamilo Sanclemente, Dabeat is renowned for his smooth emotive creations. Appearances on Beatfreak Recordings and FSOE UV highlight his discography with regular support coming in from Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren. Now returning to Clubsonica for his second remix, Dabeat puts his own unique twist on 'Remanente'. Beginning with a buoyant kick and galloping groove, the Colombian artist slowly works in mystical themes and cosmic effects. Rolling rhythms and harmonic overlays only enhance its electric nature, perfectly transitioning the piece into a second act where esoteric synths and angelic vocal pads cue a tripped out break to elevate the mood of your dance floor.

The release concludes with Stan Kolev returning to the label and providing the lone interpretation of 'Raices'. The Bulgarian artist has been a mainstay of the electronic music underground for well over a decade, with releases on Armada, Blackhole and Spinnin highlighting his discography. More recently Stan has been dominating Beatport's Progressive House charts with a string of outings for Beatfreak, Movement Recordings his own Outta Limits imprint. Now following up a contribution to the label's 2018 'MMW Sampler', Stan returns to Clubsonica with a fresh take on 'Raices'. Anchored by a warm, well carved groove and firing percussion, there's an electric mood from the outset. As drifting atmospheres and fragmented vocals descend over the framework, sweeping effects and tranquil motifs tantalize the senses. Anticipation unfolds as the main break progresses, with warm bass swells and clever modulation working in perfect unison, before getting washed away as energy shifts towards a magical drop. A stunning interpretation from Stan Kolev which caps off another must have release from Clubsonica Recordings, who have most certainly gotten 2019 off to a great start.
