    ------------------------

Paint It, Black is a song by The Rolling Stones, released on 13 May 1966 as the first single from their fourth album Aftermath.
It was originally titled Paint It Black without a comma. Keith Richards has stated that the comma was added by the record label, Decca.

The song was written by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards, though Brian Jones contributed to the song's signature riff.
Bill Wyman claims in his books that the song was a collective effort of the group, a 'Nanker-Phelge' one, but mistakenly credited to Jagger/Richards at the end.

The single reached number one in both the United States and the United Kingdom charts in 1966.
In 2004 it was ranked number 174 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 500 Greatest Songs of All Time. In the US and UK, it was the first number one single to feature a sitar on the recording.

    Tema: Paint It Black
    Banda: Screaming Dead
    Álbum: Paint It Black 7
    Año: 1983

I see a red door and I want it painted black
No colors anymore I want them to turn black
I see the girls walk by dressed in their summer clothes
I have to turn my head until my darkness goes

I see a line of cars and they're all painted black
With flowers and my love both never to come back
I see people turn their heads and quickly look away
Like a new born baby it just happens every day

I look inside myself and see my heart is black
I see my red door and must have it painted black
Maybe then I'll fade away and not have to face the facts
It's not easy facin' up when your whole world is black

No more will my green sea go turn a deeper blue
I could not foresee this thing happening to you

If I look hard enough into the settin' sun
My love will laugh with me before the mornin' comes

I see a red door and I want it painted black
No colors anymore I want them to turn black
I see the girls go by dressed in their summer clothes
I have to turn my head until my darkness goes

    Hmm, hmm, hmm,...

I wanna see it tainted, tainted black
Black as night, black as coal
I wanna see the sun blotted out from the sky
I wanna see it tainted, tainted, tainted, tainted black

Another cover a user sent me my collection does not have. This is suppose to be punk but it seems different from most punk songs in my opinion. According to internet, this band is a Horror Punk group. Its wonderful how this innocent song turns into Black metal or Horror punk out of no where. I do hope we can find an Emo version soon.

    Facebook:
    Directed by Madoka Raine

Single prodded and mixed by Gregg Fine for Hidden Tiger Music 2010

This song and video were inspired by the image of all the discarded Christmas trees that get dumped on to the city streets on December 26th. The line up is Fuze on guitar, Freedom on vocals Danny Sadownick on percussion. Torsos alumni Gene Lake on drums and Fima Ephron on the bass are in their element. A little goofiness goes a long way when you play it like you mean it.
