7:51
Pine Knob Theatre, May 30th 1997.
White Room, written by Jack Bruce and Pete Brown, is a single by Cream from their 1968 album Wheels of Fire.
After bassist Jack Bruce wrote the guitar pieces, Cream's lyricist, poet Pete Brown, grouped colourful four-syllable phrases, loosely organised around images of waiting in an English railway station influenced by the drugs he was taking. White Room is further noted for its unusual time signature of 5/4 in the introduction and bridge, with triplets played on toms by Ginger Baker, his thunderous bass drum part also lacing the verses.[citation needed] Finally, White Room is notable for showcasing guitarist Eric Clapton's best known use of the Vox Clyde McCoy Picture Wah in the bridge and extended solo.[citation needed]
Along with Sunshine of Your Love and Crossroads, White Room is one of Cream's most notable songs, having reached number 6 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 and number 28 on the UK Singles Chart.
White Room was placed at #367 on the 2004 List of Rolling Stone's 500 Greatest Songs of All Time.

From wikipedia
Rockpalast is a German music television show that broadcasts live on German television station Westdeutscher Rundfunk (WDR). Rockpalast, which translates to English as Rock Palace, started in 1974 and continues to this day. Hundreds of rock and jazz bands have performed on Rockpalast.
Some acts were recorded for broadcast throughout Europe and are available at retail outlets such as Amazon.com, others are featured on You Tube. From 1977 into the 21st century, the program has sometimes - once or twice a year -scheduled all-night marathon shows, rocknights which at least up to around 1990 were telecast live across much of Western Europe by the Eurovision[1] and which would go on until 4 a.m or later. Rockpalast once sponsored the Bizarre Festival and is involved in several other German rock/underground music festivals

The following is a quote from the Gary Moore Bible (1995). It may be a bit outdated here and there by now, but it is doubtlessly still the most thorough compendium of GMs recordings.
1993.May 2.(& 3.) Prod. Jack Bruce, Kurt Renker & Walter Quintus –
Live Cologne, E-Werk, German TV
A show to celebrate Jack Bruce’s 50th birthday. As the story goes, the guitar player (Blues Sareceno) left Jack Bruce, in the middle of a tour in Germany early in 1993, to join “Poison”. Jack Bruce - being a Gary Moore admirer from the early ‘80’s - called GM with no hope of getting a ‘Yes’, but...... With no rehearsals GM jumped in and learned the set overnight, and stayed for the rest of the tour.
The group deserved to be a super group worldwide. It didn’t happen! But anyhow it was an excellent way to celebrate Gary Moore’s 25th anniversary in the recording business. It started as a new GM solo project with Jack Bruce playing and singing on some tracks. When the drummer - Gary Husband - hadn’t time to go in the studio, Jack Bruce called his old mate/hate Ginger Baker. He came and suddenly it was a new band, landing a new contract.

Rory Gallagher - Shadow play 1978
In the flinty light, it's midnight,
And stars collide.
Shadows run, in full flight,
To run, seek and hide.
I'm still not sure what part I play,
In this shadow play, this shadow play.
Well, In the half-light, on this mad night,
I hear a voice in time.
Well, I look back, see a half-smile,
Then it's gone from sight.
Oh tell me I have to find my way,
In this shadow play, shadow play,
In this shadow play, shadow play.
Sounds come crashing, and I hear laughing,
All those lights just blaze away.
I feel a little strange inside,
A little bit of Jekyll, a little Mr. Hyde.
(Instrumental)
Sounds come crashing, and I hear laughing,
All those lights just blaze away.
I feel a little strange inside,
A little Dr. Jekyll, a little Mr. Hyde.
Thoughts run wild, free as a child,
Into the night.
Across the screen a thin beam,
Of magic light.
Tell me why things don't look the same,
In this shadow play, this shadow play,
I have to find my way,
In this shadow play.
I have to get away,
In this shadow play
(Instrumental)
