    Lyrics:
A long white cloud ancient land
    Open field sacred ground
Bays of plenty, the bluff, the cape
    Streaming sands, boiling place

White water swells, bridges of old
    Deep clear nights, open shores
Winter season brings out the best
    Summer nights in Auckland

And my father used to say
Oh, we came to this land of plenty
And we came to this land of hope
We came to this land of good times
And we came to this land of love
Oh, we came to this land of love

    Mountain range, snow peak tops
    Fresh water stream, Fouveax strait
    Open caves that glow supreme
    Black sand shores, Lion rock

    Monuments, mission bay
    Cuba street, Vulcan lane
    Westerly winds, sun and rains
    Beautiful days in the Wellington

And my father used to say
Oh, we came to this land of plenty
And we came to this land of hope
We came to this land of good times
And we came to this land of love
Oh, we came to this land of love

    Desert roads, Mt. Ruapehu
The Picton ferry decides your fate
    Oval square, civic center
And Nelson Gorge where we lost a mate

    Oamaru via Timaru
    Winding roads, sudden bends
    Lake Taupo, Bethel's beach
A word to the wise increase the peace

And my father used to say
Oh, we came to this land of plenty
And we came to this land of hope
We came to this land of good times
And we came to this land of love
Oh, we came to this land of love

    Lyrics:
    Oh, do you remember
    When we were young?
    We just had fun

Pedal to the metal, shine into the steel
Sitting up front, Elivisi by the wheel
Putting out of Island Bay, weather looking fine
Flick the switch, needle twitch, FM to the dial

Buddy Toledo singing to the songs
Watching all the P’s and Q’s, nothing can go wrong
Dino Valentino and his lady, flashes cash as the deals go by
So good to be alive, right on, right on

    Oh, do you remember
    When we were young?
    We just had fun

Pieces to the puzzle, music is the word
Franko’s on the show, flying out the bird
Somersaults and figure eights, breaking all the rules
Pushing all the pushers, The King of the New School

Buddy Toledo fronting on the stage
Pacifies the masses with a smile and a wave
Dino Valentino and his lady counts the cash as deal goes by
So good to be alive, right on, right on

    Oh, do you remember
    When we were young?

  • OMC - On The Run

    3:23

Music video by OMC performing On The Run. (C) 2006 Universal Music NZ Ltd.
    Listen more:

    Lyrics:
A why did I do it, a why did I do it
I asked myself a hundred times and then I start to cry
It's up to my neck now I'm runnin' like a dog
I can't remember how it started
But it's too late to turn back the clock
I gotta keep on, and on, and on, and on

Oh my heart's prayin' for a heart attack
I'm gonna collapse but I better not
I'll get a few years for the things I've done
I'll never see the sunrise no more what the hell
    I'm gotta keep on

Fighting for my sanity and for family
And for my baby, oh for my baby
Bullshit aside yea I knew how to play the game right
But this time I made a mistake and I'm gonna pay the price
I'd rather be payin' to the grim reaper, than the law keeper

I'm runnin', I'm runnin', I'm runnin', out of time
Too late to waste time in haste
I fell to my knees to pray to your God
But your God wasn't there for me

And so I prayed to myself for long life and stamina
I do believe I was startin' to lose my nerve and my mind
I heard a little voice screamin'
If you do the crime you will send to the time
If you do the crime you will send to the time
If you do the crime you will send to the time

Shit I won't bow down to that
A belly of a priest doesn't have his name on his slip no
I gotta keep on movin' and groovin', I gotta keep on movin' and groovin'
I gotta keep my mind clear for the devils and the demons I will not fear
The devils and demons I will not fear

I'm on the run, 10 more minutes and I'm gone
I'm on the run, 10 more minutes and I'm gone

I'm on the run, 10 more minutes and I'm gone
I'm on the run, 10 more minutes and I'm gone
I'm on the run, 10 more minutes and I'm gone
I'm on the run, 10 more minutes and I'm gone

  • OMC-How Bizarre

    3:48

In tribute to Pauly Fuemana- 1969-2010
OMC, or Otara Millionaires Club, was a music duo from Otara, Auckland, New Zealand best known for their 1996 hit How Bizarre. The full name of the band is a tongue-in-cheek reference to Otara's status as one of the poorest suburbs of Auckland.
Pauly Fuemana and Alan Jansson were, in effect, OMC. Whilst Fuemana fronted the project and took it around the world, the music was created by both of them. Fuemana was the frontman and played much of the original instrumentation. Jansson co-wrote all the tracks and produced the duo's albums. Sina Siapaia (stage name Zina) was the female backing vocalist on How Bizarre. By mid-2000, OMC had broken up but Fuemana used the group's acronym as a solo artist. Pauly Fuemana was half-Niuean and half-Māori. His father, Takiula, is from Mutalau, Niue.

Signed to Simon Grigg's huh! label, OMC released the single How Bizarre in New Zealand in 1995. It was an immediate smash hit even without a video, reaching number one late that year and staying there for six weeks. It sold over 35,000 copies (3½ times platinum), a figure not exceeded in New Zealand as of 2005[update]. It was followed by Right On which was a platinum single there. In 1996 How Bizarre went to number one in Australia, selling over 150,000 singles. Later in the year the single went to number 5 in the UK and number one in countries across Europe and much of the rest of the world. It was followed by their debut album, also entitled How Bizarre. Their third single On the Run reached #56 on the UK singles charts in 1997.

In 1997 and 1998, How Bizarre spent 36 weeks on Billboard's Hot 100 Airplay chart, peaking at # 4. The song never charted on the regular Hot 100 as it was not released as a commercially available single there. It also became BMI certified million airplay song two years in a row. The album went on to sell in excess of a million copies in the United States alone, as well as charting in many other countries. Between 1995 and 2000 OMC are estimated to have sold between three and four million records worldwide, and How Bizarre is the biggest selling record ever to be released by an act originating from and recorded in New Zealand.

In 2002, their song How Bizarre reached #71 on the 100 Greatest One-hit Wonders hosted by William Shatner.

In January 2007, OMC released a new single, 4 All of Us, featuring Lucy Lawless. Like their earlier work, this was produced and co-written by duo member Alan Jansson.

On January 31, 2010, Pauly Fuemana, aged 40, died after a short illness

Ever wonder what would happen if you took a D-35 and shrunk it down a little bit? Well, now you don't have to ponder that question, since Martin has introduced the OMC-35E! The OMC-35E features many of the traditional D-35 appointments wrapped up in a fun-sized OM package. All of the things that give the D-35 its legendary deep low-end--like the lighter scalloped 1/4 bracing and a three-piece back--are present in the OMC-35E, but the smaller body makes it a different animal entirely. It still has powerful bass response, but the narrower waist gives it clearer articulation while reducing the boom on the front end of the note for a crisper sounder overall. The East Indian rosewood back and sides also provide lots of glorious high-end harmonics, so it remains balanced despite its powerful bass response.

This unique set of characteristics makes the OMC-35E an excellent choice for a wide variety of guitarists seeking a guitar with a smaller body that can handle its business in any situation. The warmth and low-end resonance created by this combination of bracing and tonewood makes it an excellent choice for strummers and flatpickers looking for something different than the typical dreadnought tone. Fingerpickers looking for a big lows with clear articulation will also love how full this guitar sounds and how nimbly it responds to the player's touch. However, the real winners here are players who like to do everything! You can strum this thing with a full band live and provide a great foundation that drives the song along without taking up too much space in the mix, or you can plug it in and accompany yourself when playing solo at an open mic. The OMC-35E will easily handle both of those extremes, and everything in between. The Wildwood staff is proud to showcase the Martin OMC-35E, one of the most versatile, inspiring acoustic guitars available today.

Otara Millionaires Club - Never Coming Back

    Lyrics:
Siale's gone away and she's never comin' back here again
I understand, I know where you're comin' from
Just take your time, you've planned this since the first time we met, oh

Are you ever comin' back? Are you ever comin' back?
Are you ever comin' back? Are you ever comin' back?
Are you ever comin' back? Are you ever comin' back again?

First time I saw you, you were crowned in silver
You're hair full of fire, I guess you would have been a goddess
Incognito, hiding all my lies, and this year, I was more than content

Ten times my eyes glanced upon your temple
But I never imagine my deep fantasies
In case you really had another lover, another brother

I know your name is desire
The words you speak chocolate coated whispers
You have a style so unique and pure
A vision from up above, I think I'm infatuated by your spirit

As you passed by my eyes
I'm like a little child mesmerized by your magic

Well, ten times my eyes glanced upon your temple
Well, ten times my eyes glanced upon your temple
Time flies when you're havin' fun
Well, time flies when you're havin' fun
Well, time flies when you're havin' fun, well, time flies

Siale's gone away and she's never comin' back here again
I understand, I know where you're comin' from
So take your time, you've planned this since the first time we met

Are you ever comin' back? Are you ever comin' back?
Are you ever comin' back? Are you ever comin' back?
Are you ever comin' back? Are you ever comin' back again?

Time flies when you're havin' fun
Well, time flies when you're havin' fun
Well, time flies when you're havin' fun, well, time flies

Siale's gone away and she's never comin' back here again
I understand, I know where you're comin' from
Just take your time, you've planned this since the first time we met

Are you ever comin' back? Are you ever comin' back?

    ✨HOW BIZARRE • OMC✨ASMR MUSIC BACKGROUND????FEEL GOOD????✨

How Bizarre is a single written and recorded by New Zealand musical group OMC. It was released in December 1995 as the lead single from the debut album of the same name, and went on to top the charts in at least five countries: Australia, Austria, Canada, Ireland and New Zealand. Outside New Zealand, OMC is generally considered a one-hit wonder; they had a further few successful singles in New Zealand, including Land of Plenty. The song was featured in the 1998 movies Palmetto and Disney's The Parent Trap and plays at the start of the first episode of the second season of American sitcom Clueless.

The song won the award for Single of the Year at the 1996 New Zealand Music Awards. It was also featured on Nature's Best 2, as the 34th greatest New Zealand song of all time as voted for by members of the Australasian Performing Right Association in 2001. In 2002, the song was named as the 71st greatest one-hit wonder of all time on a VH1 countdown hosted by William Shatner.

Music & Media wrote about the song: Polynesian pop with a twist. Pauly Fuemana has a gravelly, deep voice and a major rap attitude. The Spanish guitar, trumpet and the sweet female background vocals create a radio friendly mood. This single from the forthcoming album Time Is Money smashed New Zealand and Australian sales figures; OMC's quirky catchiness should kick up some dust in Europe too.

    Brother Pele's in the back
    Sweet Zina's in the front
Cruisin' down the freeway in the hot, hot sun
Suddenly red-blue lights flash us from behind
    Loud voice booming
Please step out onto the line
    Pele preaches words of comfort
    Zina just hides her eyes
    Policeman taps his shades
    Is that a Chevy '69?
    How bizarre
    How bizarre, how bizarre
Destination unknown, as we pull in for some gas
Freshly pasted poster reveals a smile from the past
Elephants and acrobats, lions snakes monkey
Pele speaks righteous, Sister Zina says funky
    How bizarre
    How bizarre, how bizarre
    Ooh, baby, ooh, baby
It's making me crazy, it's making me crazy
Every time I look around (look around)
Every time I look around (Every time I look around)
    Every time I look around
    It's in my face
Ring master steps out and says the elephants left town
People jump and jive, but the clowns have stuck around
TV news and cameras, there's choppers in the sky
Marines, police, reporters ask where, for and why
Pele yells, we're outta here, Zina says, right on
We're making moves and starting grooves before they knew we were gone
Jumped into the Chevy and headed for big lights
Wanna know the rest, hey, buy the rights
    How bizarre
    How bizarre, how bizarre
    Ooh, baby, ooh, baby
It's making me crazy, it's making me crazy
Every time I look around (look around)
Every time I look around (Every time I look around)
    Every time I look around
    It's in my face
    It's in my face
    Ooh, baby, ooh, baby
It's making me crazy, it's making me crazy
Every time I look around (look around)
Every time I look around (Every time I look around)
    Every time I look around
    It's in my face
    Ooh, baby, ooh, baby
It's making me crazy, it's making me crazy
Every time I look around (look around)
Every time I look around (look around)
    Every time I look around
    It's in my face
