We are a not for profit National Academy of Performing Arts for young people.

We are on a search for some of the most talented Young People around the country! We strive to encourage young people to build confidences, social skills and to push the boundaries of the individuals capabilities so they can move forward, not only in performance but also in everyday life.

We seek to give young people a worth, a focus, a belief, in themselves.

National Academy has some of the most famous Musical Theatre stars as patrons to the group, these incredible individuals support us by carrying out work shops and master classes, teaching current industry standards and guiding our young people into their chosen career.

Lead by an experienced theatre director, the rehearsals will introduce new elements of core acting and performance skills to produce a confident and impressive final performance:

Places are limited, however, if you’re not sure if this is right for you, come along to a Free Taster session, all you need to do is email taster@nationalacademypa.co.uk and let us know which area you are in.

At Napa we insist that out tutors inspire, train, and showcase exceptional performers and theatre technicians and nurture the needs in a group environment

Lessons are available on a one to one tuition basis.

Our low weekly fee is the talking point of all new members.

View some of our members here. (we'll put the video in here which will be ready on the weekend)

Our training is unique because we believe that the best place for young performers to learn is on stage in front of an audience. We showcase young talent on the West End stage once a year ,and in some of the most professionally equipped venues across the UK.

We are as ambitious and energetic in our approach as the young people we train.

It is the policy of NAPA and all its member academies to safeguard the welfare of all young people with which it works by protecting them from neglect and physical, sexual and emotional harm. Read our full safeguarding statement available on the website.

Many of our members have recently been accepted into high profile drama colleges across the country and for this we are very proud.

    17:35

Sangat is a term from Sanskrit word ‘saṃgatam’ that literally translated as “a coming together,” referring to an alliance, association, or friendship. The members of the Sangat ensemble use this term to draw attention to the collaborative aspects and cross-cultural nature of our musical fusions. Sangat performs a collaborative raga-based fusion of Hindustani classical, Qawwali, Pakistani folk music, Karnatak music, Middle Eastern music, Western classical and jazz. The musicians share repertoire from these traditions and collaborate to blend aspects from these traditions into new musical fusions.
Sangat is a multi-cultural and transnational collaborative music ensemble comprised of members from National Academy of Performing Arts (NAPA) in Karachi, Pakistan, and the Butler School of Music (BSOM) at the University of Texas at Austin. This collaboration has been sponsored by funds from the U.S. Department of State and made possible with the help and support of faculty and staff at National Academy of Performing Arts, Butler School of Music, and South Asia Institute at UT-Austin.

  • The Stooges - NAPA

    2:21

The Stooges, an American Brass Band performed at National Academy of Performing Arts (NAPA), Karachi, Pakistan. In this part they show how they show their sorrow at the funeral through Music, Brass Music. In the second part, they told us, that they also celebrate the life of the person. the same piece and theme is played in a different tempo. It makes you feel like dancing. The thing I learned from them is that you don't always have to remember a person with tears in your eyes, you can also remember a person with a smile on your face. :-)

    🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂

Why was Elsa born with magical powers? What truths about the past await Elsa as she ventures into the unknown to the enchanted forests and dark seas beyond Arendelle? The answers are calling her but also threatening her kingdom. Together with Anna, Kristoff, Olaf and Sven, she'll face a dangerous but remarkable journey. In “Frozen,” Elsa feared her powers were too much for the world. In “Frozen 2,” she must hope they are enough. From the Academy Award®-winning team—directors Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck, producer Peter Del Vecho and songwriters Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez—and featuring the voices of Idina Menzel, Kristen Bell, Jonathan Groff and Josh Gad, Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Frozen 2” opens in U.S. theaters on Nov. 22, 2019.
