Into Another was an American rock band formed in 1990 in New York City. They consisted of vocalist Richie Birkenhead (formerly of Youth Of Today and Underdog), drummer Drew Thomas (formerly of Bold), bassist Tony Bono (formerly of Whiplash) and guitarist Peter Moses. Into Another performed their first show at New York's Pyramid, sharing the stage with a budding White Zombie. Their song T.A.I.L. hit #39 on the U.S. Billboard Mainstream Rock Tracks chart in 1996. The band broke up later that year. Bassist Tony Bono died in May 2002. This song is from their Unreleased album Soul Control ...

    Kevin Jones, guitar
    Roy Bennett, bass
    Keith Williams, vocals
    Ezra Brown, tenor sax
    Gregg Spooner, keys
    Leslie Ming, drums

After the applauses received during last year's edition, charismatic singer and bassist Roy Bennett is back! This year the New York artist will be accompanied by J.A.B. or Just Another Band, a well-established band that, in its past performances at JazzAscona, has been among the most appreciated by the audience.
Their repertoire revisits all African-American music, from funk to soul and R&B. The band, which has been active on the American scene for more than twenty years, will also include young saxophonist Ezra Brown, who was particularly acclaimed during last year's festival alongside Roy Bennett and Gordon Edwards.
The surprising alchemy between the band's members and their ability to transform the streets of Ascona into open air dancing floors have made J.A.B. a must-see for everyone.
Saxophonist Ezra Brown is the artist on the official 2011 JazzAscona poster.

ACID MOTHERS TEMPLE & THE COSMIC INFERNO
Just Another Band From The Cosmic Inferno
    Important imprec058 CD 2005

Just Another Band From The Cosmic Inferno is the debut album from the brand new configuration of the Acid Mothers Temple. Drained creatively like 'dinosaurs on the brink of extinction,'
Kawabata Makoto decided to disband the highly successful Acid Mothers Temple & The Melting Paraiso UFO lineup and replace it with something far heavier and much more powerful. Replacing the original lineup are deep-psych heavyweights including members and ex-members of The Boredoms, Ghost, Mainliner and Zeni Geva. With these ultra-heavy epic jams Kawabata Makoto has marked a new direction for his celebrated psychedelic collective. Appropriately, artwork was done longtime AMT fan and Sunn O))))/Khanate member Stephen O'Malley.

Conception are better known as Roy Khan's(ex-Kamelot) first Norwegian band. Their potential to grow into one of the greatest prog/power bands ever was certainly there. It's too bad that they were relegated to nothing more then a footnote on another band's page. This album proves that much.

This album is easily one of the catchiest and powerful prog/power albums ever released. The key word to this album. Smooth. Everything blends together so seamlessly and smoothly that it is amazing. Whether it is the vocals, guitars, drums, bass, or keys, no one plays a singularly starring roll in this production but rather all compliment each other perfectly to create a smoothly transitioning, generally mid-paced album that can easily be listened to in it's entirety while maintaining the listener's interest throughout all the songs without any huge surprises thrown in. That is the golden element of this album. When I think about Flow words like brilliance, quality, superiority and value instantly come to my mind. Flow finds Conception moving away from their earlier power/prog style, most evident in their second album, Parallel Minds. Hence, Conception's fourth full-length attempt does not go beyond the strict progressive metal boundaries.

The vocals are grandiose. They are easily the one element which transcends the entire album in the realm of brilliance. Khan is splendid on this album, putting so much emotion into the vocals, as he is very much regarded for doing in all his works, except in a far more interesting and gruffer/distorted sound, as opposed to his high flying Kamelot power metal styled vocals. Although Khan does not go to extreme heights as in previous recordings, the melodic lines of the vocals are still magnificent and the listener will definitely get carried away by them.

The guitars stay on melodic lines throughout the record with two main exceptions in tracks A Virtual Lovestory and Would It Be the Same, where a Pantera feeling can be found in certain riffs. Also, the solos greatly contribute to this astonishing feeling that surrounds the entire album and speak straight to the listener's heart with their pleasant melodies and beautiful harmonies. The mixed bag of guitar styles is really what makes the album what it is. They are all well executed and spot on, they are all powerfully played and add to the atmosphere surrounding the music. They never detract from the listening experience. The sheer variation from song to song in terms of guitar playing is one of the most interesting aspects of this album.

The rhythm section is excellent. The bass has more than simply a presence in the album since on some occasions it sounds louder in the mix than the guitar. The drums stick to easily followed patterns but they sound damn good in combination to the low end frequency. The keyboards finally, are noticeable as they play a key role in some of the songs here. They do manage to add another harmonious layer to the already fantastic compositions.

The keys and effects on this album is abundant as one can expect of a prog/power album but they are well placed and used tastefully and do not detract from the music in any particular places except at the beginning of a couple songs where there is a spoken word intro. The drums are once more competent, doing what they need to, complimenting the music easily and smoothly. It does not matter whether it is the start-stop music as found on some songs, or one of the quicker numbers. There is nothing that sticks out like a sore thumb, they are well placed in the mix and are an integral part of the smooth flow of the album.

Let's put this band into classical immortality and the pantheon of great bands being way ahead of their era, smashing any prog formalities.

  • Shema Yisroel Medley - Freilach Band, Shira Choir, Daskal, Benny, Leiner & Green / מחרוזת שמע ישראל

    11:59

Earlier this season, in the New York Hilton Midtown Hotel, Freilach Band performed at one of the most lavish weddings of the year.

During the planning stages of the wedding and in search of something fresh that hasn't been done before, Avrumi Schreiber tasked Freilach Band’s musical director and conductor, Tzvi Blumenfeld, to come up with a medley for which all the wedding’s soloists, as well as Shira Choir, can join forces.

Right then and there, Tzvi had an ingenious idea: to find the most popular songs that contain the words “Shema Yisroel” and create a medley where these songs would morph smoothly one into another.

Tzvi and the team got to work and a couple of weeks later, the fruit of their labor appeared.

Watch as a group of nearly 50 super-talented musicians and artists perform this brand new “Shema Yisroel medley” created exclusively for this wedding.

    Lyrics

    I've tried playing it cool
But when I'm looking at you
    I can’t ever be brave
'Cause you make my heart race
Shot me out of the sky
    You're my kryptonite
    You keep making me weak
    Yeah, frozen and can't breathe
    Something’s gotta give now
'Cause I’m dying just to make you see
That I need you here with me now
'Cause you've got that one thing
So get out, get out, get out of my head
And fall into my arms instead
    I don't, I don't, don't know what it is
But I need that one thing
And you've got that one thing
    Now I'm climbing the walls
But you don't notice at all
That I'm going out of my mind
    All day and all night
    Something’s gotta give now
'Cause I'm dying just to know your name
And I need you here with me now
'Cause you've got that one thing
So get out, get out, get out of my head
And fall into my arms instead
    I don't, I don't, don't know what it is
But I need that one thing
So get out, get out, get out of my mind
And come on, come into my life
    I don't, I don't, don't know what it is
But I need that one thing
And you've got that one thing
    You've got that one thing

  • The Worship Backing Band Mac, PC and iPad Transition Player

    5:52

The Transition Player is an easy-to-use MultiTrack Player for Mac, PC and iPad.

It incorporates touch screen support for devices with that functionality and can also be used with a footswitch. It seamlessly integrates Worship Backing Band’s downloadable MultiTracks and the Mac and PC Players also have an import function for your own or third party MultiTracks.

MultiTracks are designed for worship teams with missing musicians. They give the versatility of live worship even when you have few (or no) musicians. Choose your instrument mix, adjust volumes, loop and repeat song sections, change key and tempo to suit your congregation.

MultiTracks are also great practice tools as you can solo any instrument and listen to the professional part before joining in yourself.

Each MultiTrack song contains 14 instrument stems including lead and background vocals, acoustic and two electric guitars, two keyboards, bass, drums, an extras stem with other parts to fatten up the sound and even a range of clicks and vocal cues.

Most other MultiTrack providers do not provide vocals. We have found that many worship teams rely heavily on our vocals stems even if they have worship leaders or singers themselves. Our vocals stems help with confidence, pitching and knowing where to come in. Background vocals also provide harmonies that many smaller worship teams don’t otherwise have.

Instrument stems can be muted by touching the stem name or solo’d with the S button just below it. You can also boost or cut any instrument stem’s volume with it’s relevant slider just like a real mixing desk.

Click on the section being played on the song timeline and it loops once. Great, for say, repeating a chorus or click another song section and it seamlessly jumps to it when it’s ready, keeping everything in time.

You can even pre-set the loops and jumps before the song is played with a long press of the song section that you want to modify. All your arrangements and mix can be saved in advance or simply tweaked on the fly during your worship set. You can also set up a default mix that uses just the stems you normally want to hear.

If you’re playing an instrument you can even jump around the song sections hands-free using any midi foot controller.

With the Transition Player you can change the key and tempo of songs and for seamless transitions between songs we’ve built in some pad sounds. Simply press the pad Volume Up button and you’ll hear an ambient pad sound in the key of the song currently playing. When the song ends and automatically transitions into the next one in the playlist, press the cross fade button next to it and this will cross fade into another pad in the new key of the next song.

There are two independent mixes - on the right audio channel there is the main mix for your congregation to hear and on the left there is a fold back mix for the band to hear complete with a two bar intro click, a separate full length click track, a less obtrusive shaker click and even a spoken word vocal cue which counted upcoming song sections complete with lyric cues. The player can also play up to 8 channels of output for advanced users.

Any changes you make to the mix are automatically saved per song so that they are ready to go when you need them even if you have taken your song in and out of your playlist.

There is also a handy Group Mute function that lets you pre-select any instrument stem mix., This is useful for setting up a standard mix to work with your worship team or being able to strip back to say, just bass and drums in the middle of a song.

Again this is all foot switchable if you’re playing an instrument and want to make the player follow your lead hands-free.

You can build multiple playlists and even save and name them for future planning or for song tracking.

Worship Backing Band has a large library of high quality, great value MultiTrack worship songs. All recorded by us with dynamic arrangements using real instruments in congregationally friendly keys by some of the best session musicians involved in today’s worship scene.

When you buy a MultiTrack from us you get two versions of the track. First a set of high quality compressed audio stems for use in our Mac, PC or iPad Transition Players and secondly, the studio wavs for people using a DAW such as GarageBand or Ableton. You’ll even get the Ableton session file too.

If you are using your own recordings, or MultiTracks from other providers our Mac and PC Transition Players have an easy-to-use import function. You can also use this function on a Mac or PC to take third party songs over to the iPad Player via iTunes.

Get the Mac and PC Player as well as the MultiTracks from our website and the iPad Player at the Apple App store.

The Player and the songs are yours to keep forever, not to rent, at a great value price.

You can buy the Transition Player for Mac or PC (including 8 free songs) at

    No one seems to know
    But it’s been

So long since I’ve held you
    Close enough to me
    That I feel I finally
    Come to lose my heart
And the nights are so long
Without you that I find it hard to see
    Through the tears we cry
Long enough to find us here apart

    But that darkening sky reveals
The way the sunlight really feels
    Burning through the longest afternoon
    Slowly passing time demands
All that seems that I can stand
Silver wings can’t get me there to soon

Cause it’s been so long since I’ve held you
    Close enough to me
    That I feel I finally
    Come to lose my heart
And the nights are so long
Without you that I find it hard to see
    Through the tears we cry
Long enough to find us here apart

You see it’s been so long since
    I’ve held you
    Close enough to me
    That I feel I finally
    Come to lose my heart
And the nights are so long
Without you that I find it hard to see
    Through the tears we cry
Long enough to find us here apart

Yes it’s been so long, so long

  • The Beatles - Here Comes The Sun

    3:12

The Beatles “Here Comes The Sun” official video from the Abbey Road album. Out now:
    For more information visit

Abbey Road presented with new mixes in stereo, 5.1 surround, and Dolby Atmos; expanded with previously unreleased session recordings and demos.

Super deluxe 4 disc set, 3 LP deluxe vinyl, 2 CD deluxe, limited edition picture disc, CD, LP, digital and streaming. Available everywhere September 27, 2019.

On August 8, 1969, the world’s most famous band stepped out from London’s EMI Recording Studios to stride, single-file, across the black and white stripes of Abbey Road’s nearby zebra crossing. With photographer Iain Macmillan balanced on a stepladder and one policeman stopping the street’s light traffic, The Beatles crossed back and forth three times, led by John Lennon, followed by Ringo Starr, Paul McCartney, and George Harrison. Just six photos were taken, with the fifth selected as the cover shot for The Beatles’ penultimate studio album, Abbey Road, named after the tree-lined street in which the studios are located.

Released September 26, 1969, Abbey Road was not The Beatles’ final album, as Let It Be followed in 1970, but it was the last one John, Paul, George, and Ringo recorded together as a band. The Beatles celebrated Abbey Road’s anniversary with a suite of beautifully presented packages released worldwide on September 27, 2019 by Apple Corps Ltd./Capitol/UMe. Now available, the album’s 17 tracks are newly mixed by producer Giles Martin and mix engineer Sam Okell in stereo, high res stereo, 5.1 surround, and Dolby Atmos, accompanied by 23 session recordings and demos, most of which are previously unreleased.

    9:57

With guitar solo of Eric Gilette.
Neal Morse Band live in Tel Aviv (Reading 3 - ProgStage), Israel, 25th September 2013:
Neal Morse, Mike Portnoy, Randy George, Eric Gilette, Bill Hubauer.

    Lyrics:
And then after all, with our backs against the wall
We seek the temple of the living God.
And outside the gate the cripples sit and wait
To see the temple of the living God
To see the temple of the living God

    Suffer, trespass, stranger redeemed
    Leviticus 21,18
The blind, the lame, the flat nosed,
    superfluous
    Broken footed on burning sand
The Priest, the seed, the blood stained hand
The leper testifies and turns to dust

And then after all, with our backs against the wall
We seek the temple of the living God
And outside the gate the cripples sit and wait
To see the temple of the living God
To see the temple of the living God

Oblation, vows, the promise of faith
Atonement, the wine, oil and cakes
The sheep, the goats, acceptable in his eyes
The maimed, the blemished, the scurvy scabbed
The creeping things, the firstborn lamb
Avail his presence in the house of sacrifice

And then after all, with our backs against the wall
We seek the temple of the living God
And outside the gate the cripples sit and wait
To see the temple of the living God
To see the temple of the living God.

The tent of meeting at the center and the tribes are camped around
With the banners of the living creatures sticking right out of the ground
The brazen alter and the laver are before the Holy Place
Like Moses did upon the mountain he will meet them face to face

So sanctify every boy and girl as we step into
Step into, step into, into another world.

As you enter in the courtyard there's a smell of sacrifice
Reminding all the holy people they must pay the highest price.
It's like I'm staring out a window into another world
Where the lamb is sitting with the lion
And the beast protects the girl

My soul projection is a flyin' now
As I step into, step into, step into, into another world

  • No BS! Brass Band: NPR Music Tiny Desk Concert

    12:20

Just southeast of the Virginia Commonwealth University campus in Richmond, Va., lies a compact neighborhood called Oregon Hill. Historically, it's been a (white) working-class part of town, affordable for students and various bohemian types. Recording engineer Lance Koehler was drawn to the place when he moved to Richmond from New Orleans; it's where he eventually found a two-story garage and converted it into his own recording studio and home. It didn't take him long to start doing business across the Richmond music map: Koehler is good at his job, and he's affordable. His business is called Minimum Wage Studios for a reason.

He's also a drummer, and though he grew up in Southern California, his time in New Orleans left a deep impression. Inspired by the Crescent City's modern brass bands, in 2006 he started the NO BS! Brass Band with trombonist Reggie Pace. They had a place to fit between 10 and 13 musicians for rehearsal, and they had the means to document their work. And, owing to VCU and its conservatory program — with a history of producing top-notch jazz players — they had plenty of great horn players at their disposal.

Funky and danceable, the NO BS! Brass Band takes after the full black-music continuum you hear in groups like Rebirth or the Hot 8. But it's also proggy, and a bit brutalizing, and full of pride in a different Southern outpost. The group's new album is called RVA All Day, after all. And about that jazz cred: In July, it'll release another album called Fight Song, so named because it features the band's arrangements of Charles Mingus compositions.

Recently, Koehler, Pace and nine other musicians piled into a bus and journeyed up the freeway to NPR Music's Tiny Desk in Washington, D.C. They blasted us with songs from the new album — it was so loud, you could hear the music on the other side of the building, a floor down. And this summer, when Pace isn't out with Bon Iver's touring band, they'll strike out from Oregon Hill to fly the Richmond flag up and down the East Coast.

    Lyrics

    You're insecure
    Don't know what for
You're turning heads when you walk through the door
Don't need make-up, to cover up
Being the way that you are is enough
Everyone else in the room can see it
    Everyone else but you
Baby you light up my world like nobody else
The way that you flip your hair gets me overwhelmed
But when you smile at the ground it ain't hard to tell
    You don't know, oh oh
    You don't know you're beautiful
If only you saw what I can see
You'll understand why I want you so desperately
Right now I'm looking at you and I can't believe
    You don't know, oh oh
You don't know you're beautiful, oh oh
    That's what makes you beautiful
So come on, you got it wrong
To prove I'm right, I put it in a song
    I don't know why, you're being shy
And turn away when I look into your eye eye eyes
Everyone else in the room can see it
    Everyone else but you
Baby you light up my world like nobody else
The way that you flip your hair gets me overwhelmed
But when you smile at the ground it ain't hard to tell
    You don't know, oh oh
    You don't know you're beautiful
If only you saw what I can see
You'll understand why I want you so desperately
Right now I'm looking at you and I can't believe
    You don't know, oh oh
You don't know you're beautiful, oh oh
    That's what makes you beautiful
Baby you light up my world like nobody else
The way that you flip your hair gets me overwhelmed
But when you smile at the ground it ain't hard to tell
    You don't know, oh oh
    You don't know you're beautiful

    Lyrics
    [Zayn:]
    Going out tonight
    Changes into something red
Her mother doesn't like that kind of dress
Everything she never had she's showing off

    [Liam:]
    Driving too fast
Moon is breaking through her hair
She's heading for something that she won't forget
Having no regrets is all that she really wants

    [Harry:]
    We're only getting older, baby
And I've been thinking about it lately
Does it ever drive you crazy
Just how fast the night changes?
Everything that you've ever dreamed of
    Disappearing when you wake up
But there's nothing to be afraid of
    Even when the night changes
It will never change me and you

    [Louis:]
    Chasing it tonight,
Doubts are running 'round her head
He's waiting, hides behind a cigarette
Heart is beating loud, and she doesn't want it to stop

    [Niall:]
    Moving too fast
Moon is lighting up her skin
She's falling, doesn't even know it yet
Having no regrets is all that she really wants

    [Harry:]
    We're only getting older, baby
And I've been thinking about it lately
Does it ever drive you crazy
Just how fast the night changes?
Everything that you've ever dreamed of
    Disappearing when you wake up
But there's nothing to be afraid of
    Even when the night changes
It will never change me and you

    [Zayn:]
    Going out tonight
    Changes into something red
Her mother doesn't like that kind of dress
Reminds her of the missing piece of innocence she lost

    [Harry (along all):]
    We're only getting older, baby
And I've been thinking about it lately
Does it ever drive you crazy
Just how fast the night changes?
Everything that you've ever dreamed of
    Disappearing when you wake up
But there's nothing to be afraid of
    Even when the night changes
    It will never change, baby
    It will never change, baby
It will never change me and you

  • DThree - TRXPPED Original Composition for Full Band

    2:42

TRXPPED is the first piece of music in my new series, Album A to X. This album will consist of 13 full compositions, and every single one will have its one electronic remake, which will be all produced and put into another playlist. I hope you enjoy this, as it is a first step into creating an entire album.

TRXPPED starts as a dark, intense, and fast piece, which gets increasingly dramatic as the piece progresses. In the middle, there is a short but calm, soothing melody and the pace continues as the song crawls to an abrupt end.

    Application used: Musescore

    Lyrics

Written in these walls are the stories that I can't explain
I leave my heart open but it stays right here empty for days
She told me in the morning
She don't feel the same about us in her bones
It seems to me that when I die
These words will be written on my stone
And I'll be gone, gone tonight
The ground beneath my feet is open wide
The way that I been holdin' on too tight
    With nothing in between
The story of my life, I take her home
I drive all night to keep her warm and time
Is frozen (the story of, the story of, the story of)
The story of my life, I give her hope
I spend her love until she's broke inside
The story of my life (the story of, the story of)
    Written on these walls are
The colors that I can't change
    Leave my heart open
But it stays right here in its cage
I know that in the morning now
I see us in the light upon a hill
Although I am broken, my heart is untamed, still
And I'll be gone, gone tonight
The fire beneath my feet is burning bright
The way that I've been holdin' on so tight
    With nothing in between
The story of my life, I'll take her home
I drive all night to keep her warm and time
Is frozen (the story of, the story of)
The story of my life, I give her hope
I spend her love until she's broke inside
The story of my life (the story of, the story of)
And I've been waiting for this time to come around
But, baby, running after you is like chasing the clouds
    The story of my life
    I take her home
    I drive all night
To keep her warm and time
    Is frozen
The story of my life, I give her hope (give her hope)
I spend her love until she's broken inside
The story of my life (the story of, the story of)
    The story of my life
The story of my life (the story of, the story of)

I don’t want to be alone tonight
It’s pretty clear that I’m not over you
I’m still thinking ‘bout the things you do
So I don’t want to be alone tonight

    Can you light the fire
I need somebody who can take control
I know exactly what I need to do
Cos I don’t want to be alone tonight, alone tonight, alone tonight

Look what you made me do
    I’m with somebody new
Ooh, baby, baby I’m dancing with a stranger
Look what you made me do
    I’m with somebody new
Ooh, baby, baby I’m dancing with a stranger
    Dancing with a stranger

I wasn’t even going out tonight
But boy I need to get you off my mind
I know exactly what I have to do
I don’t want to be alone tonight, alone tonight, alone tonight

Look what you made me do
    I’m with somebody new
Ooh, baby, baby I’m dancing with a stranger
Look what you made me do
    I’m with somebody new
Ooh, baby, baby I’m dancing with a stranger
    Dancing with a stranger
    Dancing with a stranger
    Dancing, yeah

Look what you made me do
    I’m with somebody new
Ooh, baby, baby I’m dancing with a stranger
Look what you made me do
    I’m with somebody new
Ooh, baby, baby I’m dancing with a stranger
    Dancing with a stranger

    Title: K-Jee
Artist: Preston State College Big Band
    Label: Freestyle Records
    Cat#: FSRCD090
    Formats: CD
    Digital Release: 11th July 2011
    Physical Release: 11th July 2011

    About This Release:

Back in September 2007, Freestyle Records released Black Feeling an album project brought to life by Australian musical supremo Lance Ferguson, the man responsible for Freestyle soul-jazz organ trio Cookin On 3 Burners, as well as The Bamboos & Lanu projects on Tru Thoughts Recordings.

Each track was presented under a pseudonym to give the impression of an album you would find whilst digging in a Caribbean record shop or American thrift store. As a collection of reworked classics, the album set dance floors alight across the world, indeed, the single Hippy Skippy Moon Strut by The Mighty Show-Stoppers became a huge selling 12 inch, and also notched up well over 350,000 individual viewings on You Tube to date!

Now in 2011, Freestyle Records is pleased as punch to be releasing this follow up album, The main concept with the 'Black Feeling' cover versions is that the finished product should not just be some kind of carbon copy of an established classic and Lance explains his approach further: 'The initial study of the original recordings enables me to be freer with interpreting, re-arranging and changing them for the final album. Often I will make changes to make a track a little more attractive or usable for DJs and the dancefloor in general'

And you can certainly hear that in regards to the first two tracks 'Shaft In Africa' and 'Burning Spear' as their bottom end and drum breaks are beefed up to give funk heads and B Boys maximum opportunity to throw shapes to their hearts content! In direct comparison to those up tempo dance floor stormers, the album also features more reflective moments, namely the versions of Ronnie Fosters 'Mystic Brew' and 'Oboe' by Jamaican keyboard King Jackie Mittoo, whose gentle, skanking feel is like a warm Caribbean breeze cooling you down, and Lances tactic of shifting a classic tune into another genre is a masterstroke as exemplified on the salsa version of 'Nautilus' on which keyboardist Simon Mavin injects his incredible latin piano skills to stunning effect.

The entire album sparkles with energy and display an intelligent and varied approach to reworking much loved classic as Lance states: 'I think it's really important to flip the cover-versions up and offer the listener something new so often I'll change instrumentation around to achieve something unique'. And something unique is what he and his crew of top musical talent have achieved - welcome to Black Feeling Two!.

Lance simply doesnt deliver bad or boring stuff. Never. There is to much taste and musicality inside.
You can discuss if another Shaft in Africa version is needed, but in the end it is all solid. - (M.Path.Iq)

These are not re-makes, they are re-imaginings of classic tunes. While they are not original compositions, they are very personalized versions. - Wtnr Radio (T-Bird)

Love this! Perfect dancefloor business - funky as hell. Will be spinning this everywhere I can! - First Word Recordings (Gilla)

Track-by-track dancefloor dynamite. Please don't tell anyone else about this album because I want it to be my funky little secret; my secret DJ weapon. - The Wardrdobe, Leeds (DJ Paul Dunphy)

Absolutely superb release, I can't wait to give K-Jee a spin at WIRED! Serious bad ass, booty shakin' funk bombs. Love it! - Stop.Look.Listen. (Ben Cox)

Black Feeling 2 walks the walk with some great arrangements of solid classics with all the lumps in the right places. If you love the originals, you are bound to approve of these modern versions which stand up in their own right as vital recordings. - Funkalicious (Phil Gates)

    Lyrics: The Woods
    ---------------------------
    [Chorus]
One man's trash is another man's treasure
If one stays gone, one tryna stay home
One man's walls might feel like a prison
And some live dyin', I'm dyin' for livin'
Some folks stayin' out in the woods, and I'm gettin' in 'em

    [Verse 1]
Don't judge a book by its cover 'cause people look different
Don't shut 'em down, you never know what you missin'
Some people find love, some love fightin'
Some lay with the lambs, and some roll with the lions

    [Pre-Chorus]
What floats your boat might sink mine
And what makes me smile might make you cry
You might get low, I might stay high
To each their own, ain't that right?

    [Chorus]
One man's trash is another man's treasure
If one stays gone, one tryna stay home (Tryna stay home)
One man's walls might feel like a prison
And some live dyin', I'm dyin' for livin' (Dyin' for livin')
Some folks stayin' out in the woods, and I'm gettin' in 'em

    [Post-Chorus]
    Na-na, oh, na-na
    Oh, na-na-na-na-na

    [Verse 2]
Some people ballin' and dancin', some people twerkin'
Some work on trash like a [?] surgeon
Some mountain don't, some mountain do
Some love the monkeys, some have 'em and move

    [Pre-Chorus]
What floats your boat might sink mine
And what makes me smile might make you cry
You might get low, I might stay high
To each their own, ain't that right?

    [Chorus]
One man's trash is another man's treasure
If one stays gone, one tryna stay home (Tryna stay home)
One man's walls might feel like a prison
And some live dyin', I'm dyin' for livin' (Dyin' for livin')
Some folks stayin' out in the woods, and I'm gettin' in 'em

    [Post-Chorus]
    Na-na, oh, na-na
    Oh, na-na-na-na-na
    Na-na, oh, na-na
    Oh, na-na-na-na-na
    Na-na, oh, na-na
    Oh, na-na, oh, na-na
    Oh, na-na, oh, na-na
    Oh, na-na-na-na-na

    [Pre-Chorus]
What floats your boat might sink mine
And what makes me smile might make you cry
You might get low, I might stay high
To each their own, ain't that right?

    [Chorus]
One man's trash is another man's treasure
If one stays gone, one tryna stay home (Tryna stay home)
One man's walls might feel like a prison
And some live dyin', but I'm dyin' for livin' (Dyin' for livin')
Some folks stayin' out in the woods, and I'm gettin' in 'em
