    Lyrics:

When I was fifteen, sixteen, when I started really to play the guitar.
I definitely wanted to become a musician.
It was almost impossible because it was, the dream was so big that
I didn't see any chance because I was living in a little town.

I was studying and when I finally broke away from school and became musician.
I thought Well, I may have a bit of a chance.
Because all I ever wanted to do is music but not only play music but compose music.

    Giorgio Moroder - Chase

    6:15

Kebu's all-analog synth cover of Giorgio Moroder's The Chase, performed live at the Sthlm Italo Disco Party 2015 at Nalen, Stockholm, 16.5.2015.

Thanks to Jean-Paul Meulendijks, Alexander Guskov, Heidi Väisänen, Tuulikki Väisänen, and Renaud Guérin for operating the cameras!

The first minute is my own composition, Prelude to Chase, that I composed as an intro to Chase. My arrangement of Chase is a mixture of both the original version and JAIA's Express Remix - with a few of my own additions thrown in.

The song was performed using only analog synthesizers, either played live or sequenced. The performance was recorded directly from the mixer to a stereo track and later mixed together with the ambience from the room. A few mistakes have been cut out and replaced with the audio from a rehearsal take.

Equipment used in this song: Logan String Melody II; MXR EVH117 flanger; Roland TR-808, Juno 60, Alpha Juno 1&2; Korg Polysix, Poly 61, Mono/Poly, Micro-preset M500; Moog Source; DSI Tetra; Jomox AirBase99; Touched-by-sound DRM1; Oberheim Matrix 1000; Marion Prosynth; Akai MPC2500 (only for MIDI sequencing), M-Audio Trigger Finger; Yamaha 01v96; Lexicon MPX500 & MPX550, as well as a midi patchbay and additional preamps for my mixer.

Donna Summer - I Feel Love Studio Version

    5:53

Album: Remember Yesterday (P)(C) Casablanca Records (1977) USA
Mezcla De Video Original Por: Sergio Productions, Cali Colombia.

Antes de ser lanzado como sencillo aparte, I Feel Love correspondía al lado B de la canción Can't We Just Sit Down (And Talk It Over), el primero del álbum I Remember Yesterday.

The Dance Collection: A Compilation of Twelve Inch Singles. The Journey: The Very Best of Donna Summer.

Giorgio Moroder's score for Fritz Lang's movie Metropolis (1926).
comes in gatefold sleeve with lyrics insert.

'Metropolis' was originally produced in 1926 by Fritz Lang in Germany. Against his wishes, the film was subsequently shortened for it's American release which left the story disjointed, difficult to comprehend and caused the loss of many scenes, most of which were thought to be lost forever.
In 1983, Giorgio Moroder bought the rights of the film and restored and produced the 80-minute 1984 re-release.
The original classical score composed by Gottfried Huppertz was then considered lost.
By following the original script, the novel of the film, discovered missing pieces of the film and photographs, 'Metropolis' was restored as close to it's original conception as possible.
In 2005, Wollongong-based historian and politician Michael Organ found 11 lost scenes of the film by examining a copy at the National Film Archive of New Zealand.
On July 1, 2008, film experts in Berlin announced that a 16 mm reduction negative of the original premiere cut of the film, including almost all of the lost scenes, had been discovered in the archives of the Museo del Cine (film museum) in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The find was authenticated by film experts working for Die Zeit. Passed around since 1928 from film distributor to private collector to an art foundation, the Metropolis copy arrived at the Museo del Cine, where it stayed undiscovered in their archives. After hearing an anecdote by the cinema club manager — who years before had been surprised by the length when this copy was screened — the museum's curator and the director of the film department of the Museum of Latin American Art reviewed the film and discovered the missing scenes. The print was in poor condition and required considerable restoration before it was re-premiered in February 2010 for the occasion of the 60th Berlinale.
'Metropolis' can now be seen complete with it's original score.
Many other versions of the score were produced over the years:
    - The 1975 BBC version of Metropolis features an electronic score, composed by William Fitzwater and Hugh Davies. It is usually described by many as the worst score ever made for the movie.
    - In 1991, The Alloy Orchestra created a new original score to Moroder's version of Metropolis.
    - In 1994, Rambo Amadeus, Serbia-based Montenegrin composer, composed a new version of the score.
    - Martin Matalon composed a score for 16 instruments and electronics, commissioned and produced by IRCAM. Premiered at Théâtre du Châtelet 30 and 31 May 1995. Over 30 performances worldwide since then.
    - Peter Osborne composed a synth orchestral / electronic score for the JEF/Eureka 139-minute B&W DVD version (released only in UK).
    - In 2001, Jeff Mills released a new techno score. The same year, Bernd Schultheis and Sofia's Radio Orchestra also produced their version (accompaniment for film festivals in 2001 and shown on German television).
    - In 2002, Art Zoyd, a French avant-garde/electronic band released a new score.
    - In 2004, Abel Korzeniowski released a 40 minute preview of a new score he composed.
    - In 2005, a duo called The New Pollutants (Benjamin Speed and Tyson Hopprich) released 'Metropolis Rescore'. Performed live for festivals since 2005.
    - In 2008, Avant-garde music project Sinfonia Electronique released 'Music from the Big Machines' as an alternate soundtrack to the film.
    - In 2010, the Montreal Fantasia Film Festival version was scored by Canadian silent film composer Gabriel Thibaudeau.

“ONE MORE DAY”는 조르지오 모로도의 음악과 시스타의 매력적인 보이스가 고스란히 담긴 일렉트로닉 팝 댄스곡으로 쉽고 선명한 멜로디 라인과 귀에 감기는 강렬한 훅은 누구나 한 번에 쉽게 따라 부를 수 있다. 특히 씨스타는 한국을 대표하는 걸그룹답게 특유의 파워풀하고 호소력 짙은 목소리로 “ONE MORE DAY”를 소화했다.

GIORGIO MORODER - From Here To Eternity

    3:52

Baby, baby, baby gives me loving
Leaves me meaning nothing, nothing left to mean
Baby, baby, baby's got me sighing
Nearly has me dying, dying off to me

    From here to eternity
    That's where she takes me
    Frome here to eternity
    She does, she does
    She does, she does

    From here to eternity
    That's where she leads me
    From here to eternity
    With love, with love
    With love, with love

Baby, baby, baby, makes me feel good
Feels good now she makes me love me once again
Baby, baby, loving her is easy
Easy how she loves me, love me once again

    From here to eternity
    That's where she takes me
    From here to eternity
    She does, she does
    She does, she does

    Frome here to eternity
    That's where she leads me
    From here to eternity
    With love, with love
    With love, with love

    From here to eternity
    That's where she takes me
    From here to eternity
    She does, she does
    She does, she does

    From here to eternity
    That's where she leads me
    From here to eternity
    With love, with love
    With love, with love

    From here to eternity
    That's where she takes me
    From here to eternity
With love, with love, with love
    Baby, baby, baby, baby

    From here to eternity
    That's where she takes me
    From here to eternity
With love, with love, with love...

Giorgio Moroder - What A Night Remastered

    5:01

Giorgio - E=MC² - First Electronic Live To Digital Album (1979)

    Track: What A Night
Artists: Giorgio Moroder, Pete Bellotte, Harold Faltermeyer

    Lyrics:
    Ow, What a night
Ow, What a lonely, lonely night
    What a night
Ow, What a lonely, lonely night

    I talked to Mary
To reach a woman who's sane
    She said I'm sorry,
She had a pain in her brain

    So, I refuted
She couldn't make it tonight, tonight
No, No, No, No, No, No girl tonight
    I can't deny

    Ow, What a night
Ow, What a lonely, lonely night
    What a night
Ow, What a lonely, lonely night

    Ow, What a night
Ow, What a lonely, lonely night
    What a night
Ow, What a lonely, lonely night

    I started calling
    Right up til early dawn
    To find a lady
To spend the night with me

    I really tried to
Call the lovers I knew so well
But No, No, No, No, No, No girls tonight
    I can't deny

    Ow, What a night
Ow, What a lonely, lonely night
    What a night
Ow, What a lonely, lonely night

What a night, Such a night,
Such a lonely, lonely, lonely, lonely night
    Ooh-hoo, Ooh-hoo, Ooh-hoo
    Ooh-hoo, Ooh-hoo, Ooh-hoo

Got the blues, got the blues for tonight
By myself, by myself, it ain't right
Got the blues, got the blues for tonight
By myself, by myself, it ain't right-ight-ight

    Ow, What a night
Ow, What a lonely, lonely night
    What a night
Ow, What a lonely, lonely night

Giorgio Moroder - The Duel *1984* Electric Dreams Soundtrack

    4:25

[Synth/Ambient/Modern Classical/Electronic/Orchestration/OST] Here is a very special video for the fans of the 1984 film Electric Dreams. Now for the first time ever, Edgar (the computer) comes to modern-day computer screens in my special custom made recreation of the scene where the computer begins to play along in a duet with Madeline Robistat 's (Virginia Madsen) cello. The song they do a duet to is titled: The Duel and it is composed by legendary synthesizer musician Giorgio Moroder. I personally hate the original soundtrack album version of The Duel because its got this weird disco vibe to it and i always found the film version to be WAY better. The scene is also (presumably) the most iconic part in the movie because for some strange reason the film is quite forgotten these days and no one seems to remember anything else from it other than this scene, lol. Siskel & Ebert even showcased this scene in their review of the movie and both of them gave it two thumbs up. However, the film itself has been criticized through the years AND even upon its release in 1984. I can't seem to understand the hate because this film was SO ahead of its time. You have to remember that nobody really owned a computer in 1984 so of course we look at this film now and see all the flaws and tech limitations because we have gotten so prone to using computers. But this film is amazing as it is a science fiction romantic comedy film set in San Francisco, California, that depicts a love triangle between a man, a woman and a personal computer who slowly becomes self aware after Miles Harding (Lenny Von Dohlen) spills champagne on it while feeding information to it. It stars Lenny Von Dohlen (whom btw played Harold Smith in Twin Peaks aka one of the most tragic characters in television history), Virginia Madsen (in her first ever movie role), Maxwell Caulfield, Bud Cort as voice of the computer and was directed by Steve Barron. Steve Barron got the idea for the movie after being displeased with 1983's Flashdance (which is why the movie has a musical element to it). Honestly i consider Barron to be the KING of 80's montages because he has such an artistic eye to the shots in this movie. As much as i admire this scene for the shot coordination's i always wanted to see it just in the perspective of Edgar (the computer) with the digital graphics so i went ahead and recreated/designed this video which showcases the scene just in the computer perspective.

Here is a link to the scene in the movie:

As well as the Siskel & Ebert Electric Dreams review:

I hope all the fans of Electric Dreams enjoys the video because it was a pain to make, each shot had to be coordinated to the music frame by frame.

Also noting that the official soundtrack to this film is equally amazing as the song Together in Electric Dreams by Philip Oakey (Phil Oakey) and Giorgio Moroder became an international hit in 1984 and the song Love Is Love by Culture Club went top 3 in Canada, top 10 in Japan and was Culture Club's biggest hit in Brazil of that same year.

    ...hope you enjoy. :)

    Fun Facts:
    - Edgar, the name of the computer is most likely named after Edgard Varese who is widely recognized as the father of electronic music.
    - Edgar, the computer was not a real computer model. He was assembled by the film makers from a pastiche of computer parts of the time.
    - The computer hardware company's name in the film is Pinecone, a play on Apple Computer.
    - The Duel is a rendition of Bach's Suite from Anna Magdalena.
