    Frankie Miller - Darling 1979

    I'm feeling pretty lonesome
I'd call you on the phone sone
    but I don't have a dime
Darlin' you're so far behind me
    tomorrow's gonna find me
    further down the line.

    Takin' me some paper
    pencil in my hand
    I'm gonna write.

Darlin' you know I feel the cold nights
    thinking of the old nights
    spent along with you.
Darlin' the tear is in my eye now
    knowing I can try now
to make it back to you.

    Darlin'
    love you more than ever
    wish we were together
    darlin' of mine.

    Darlin'
    I'm feeling pretty lonesome
I'd call you on the phone sone

  • After All Live My Life - Frankie Miller

    3:45

(Lyrics are below) Frankie Miller is a Scottish rock singer-songwriter who wrote for and performed with many recording artists and is probably best known for his album Full House, the single Darlin' and his duet with Phil Lynott on the Thin Lizzy song Still in Love with You.

His debut solo album, 'Once in a Blue Moon' was originally released in 1973 and the track I Can’t Change It was covered by Ray Charles on his album Brother Ray Is At It Again. This particular track from the album ...After All (I Live My Life) had already been recorded by Kenny Rogers and The First Edition on their hit album Tell It All Brother in 1970. It later appeared as the closing song in the 2011 Johnny Depp film, The Rum Diary

AFTER ALL (I LIVE MY LIFE)

Always think about the days gone by
When my childhood eyes saw only hills and sky
But I'm not the simple minded boy I used to be
No I learned to picture life in it's reality

And I found, after all the searching
Life was only what I made it
After all the searcning for new games to play

I found after all the searching
Life was only what I made it
After all the searching for a new game to play

    I live my life away

Saw a dragon shake catherdal walls
While a steeple bell rang out in anguish calls
And I turned my eyes to see a bird fly over head
And I dreamt it's wings of freedom could be mine instead

I found after all the dreaming
Life was only what I made it
After all the dreaming for new games to play

    After all the dreaming
Life was only what I made it
After all the dreaming of new games to play

    I drink my life away

    Even after all the searching
Life was only what I made it
After all the searching for a new game to play

    After all the searching
Life was only how you take it
After all the seaching for a new game to play

    I live my life away

    Live it all

    Live it all

    Live that life away

  • Frankie Miller - I cant change it

    3:12

    ♫ I can't change it ♫ (1973)

My friends can't find some things I say
Must be the way I say those things
My friends can't find some things I do
Must be the way I do those things
    I can't change it
But I'm trying to do right

I used to steal I used to fall
    Was I wrong I can't recall
I stole in love but all in all
    Was I wrong I don't recall
    I can't change it
But I'm trying to do right

Is it bad to look inside yourself and decide to go
To someone who can show the way complete
Are you glad to lose the doubts you thought would never go
When them inside hallucinations had you beat

My own true love has gone away
What can I say she left that day
The moon still shines a different way
    What can I say
    She left that day
    I cant change it
    But I'm waiting patiently.

  • Frankie Miller Tears

    3:37

Album: Easy money. “ For every new road, there must be a friend; for every broken heart, there must be a mend...” True, Frankie, but it can take quiete some time, sometimes... By the way – Frankie was always happy to write with others. That means, that after his first album, almost every album was filled with cooporations. On the 7th album, we have to wait 'till the end to find... this one. Tears, finally, is his own words, his own music, and how brillant it is! This version: guaranteed bonnie-free ;)

Sixième extrait de son excellent album Faster than the speed of night paru en 1983.

Really great that 85 year old Frankie Miller came to Sweden for the first time and did a show. I got a new chance to film him on stage with a band. Last time I filmed him was 1978 in a garage in Forth Worth, Texas. Just him with his guitar and me with a simple Super8 camera. This is a small part of the 1 hour show. The complete show has been filmed.
