    Lyrics :
    I can't stop the way I feel
Things you do don't seem real
Tell me what you've got in mind
'Cause we're running out of time
Won't you ever set me free?
    This waiting 'round's killing me
She drives me crazy like no one else
She drive me crazy and I can't help myself
    I can't get any rest
    People say I'm obsessed
    Everything you say is lies
But to me that's no surprise
What I had for you was true
Things go wrong, they always do
She drives me crazy like no one else
She drive me crazy and I can't help myself
I won't make it on my own
No one likes to be a lone
She drives me crazy like no one else
She drive me crazy, and I can't help myself
She drives me crazy like no one else
She drive me crazy, and I can't help myself
She drives me crazy like no one else
She drive me crazy, and I can't help myself

  • Fine Young Cannibals - Johnny Come Home

    3:31

Fine Young Cannibals (spesso abbreviati F.Y.C.) era un gruppo inglese, formatosi a Birmingham nel 1984.
Sono conosciuti soprattutto per i singoli Suspicious Minds (cover dell'omonimo brano di Elvis Presley), She Drives Me Crazy, Johnny Come Home e Good Thing.
Si sono sciolti nel 1992, ma nel 1996 si sono riuniti per la registrazione del singolo The Flame, che è stato inserito nella raccolta The Finest.
Il nome del gruppo deriva dal film I giovani cannibali del 1960.

  • Fine Young Cannibals -Suspicious Minds

    3:58

    Lyrics:
    We´re caught in a trap, I can´t walk out,
Because I love you too much, baby.
Why can´t you see what you´re doin´ to me,
    When you don´t believe a word I´m sayin´?

    We can´t go on together with suspicious minds;
And we can´t build our dreams on suspicious minds.

I saw an old friend I know, I stop and say hello,
Would I still see suspicion in your eyes?
Here you go again, ask me where I´ve been,
    You can´t see the tears I´ve cried - tears I - tears I´ve cried.

    We can´t go on together with suspicious minds;
And we can´t build our dreams on suspicious minds.

Oh, let out love survive, I´ll dry the tears you cry.
Don´t let this good thing die, you know,
I have never lied to you, no, no, no!

    We´re caught in a trap, I can´t walk out,
Because I love you too much, baby.
Why can´t you see what you´re doin´ to me,
    When you don´t believe a word I´m sayin´?

    We can´t go on together with suspicious minds;
And we can´t build our dreams on suspicious minds.

    We´re caught in a trap, I can´t walk out,
Because I love you too much, baby.
Why can´t you see what you´re doin´ to me,
    When you don´t believe a word I´m sayin´?

    We´re caught in a trap, I can´t walk out,

    Summary:
Captured at The Ritz during their first visit to America, enjoy Fine Young Cannibals delivering their fluid blend of soul, reggae, punk and pop to a highly receptive New York City audience. Launched by Andy Cox and David Steele following their tenure in The English Beat, the group is best known for the unique voice of lead singer Roland Gift, whose crystal-clear falsetto, not to mention photogenic good looks during the music video era, gave the band its identity.

Concentrating on material from their self-titled debut, this performance makes it clear why the band received such critical raves and outstanding success during the late 1980s. Gift's restrained vocal passion and the tight R&B/ska-fueled musicianship creates an infectious blend. This formula would reach full fruition on the their second album The Raw and The Cooked, which would bring the band even greater success with singles such as She Drives Me Crazy and Good Thing. Still, even at this early stage, all the elements were firmly in place. The singles Johnny Come Home and their cover of Suspicious Minds, both included in this set, are prime examples. On the latter, Jimmy Somerville (Bronski Beat/The Communards) joins the band on stage to add falsetto vocals of his own.

The group's melodic sense and love of a great pop hook fuels this material. As a result, it all holds up rather well, from the opening Don't Ask Me To Choose right through to the set-closing take on Franki Valli's Can't Take My Eyes Off Of You, which the group never officially recorded.

Fine Young Cannibals were a British rock music band formed in Birmingham, England, in 1984, by bassist David Steele, guitarist Andy Cox (both formerly of The Beat), and singer Roland Gift (formerly of the Akrylykz). Their self-titled 1985 debut album contained Johnny Come Home and a cover of Suspicious Minds, two songs that were top 40 hits in the UK, Canada, Australia and many European countries. Their 1988 album, The Raw & the Cooked, topped the UK and US album charts, and contained their two Billboard Hot 100 number ones: She Drives Me Crazy and Good Thing.

In 1990 the band won two Brit Awards: Best British Group, and Best British Album (for The Raw & the Cooked). Their name came from the 1960 film All the Fine Young Cannibals starring Robert Wagner and Natalie Wood.

She Drives Me Crazy is a song released in 1988 by English group Fine Young Cannibals, and included on their 1989 album The Raw & the Cooked. The song peaked at Number 5 on the British singles chart in the band's native U.K. in January 1989 (it was released on New Year's Day) before hitting Number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the US on 15 April 1989. She Drives Me Crazy also topped the charts in Australia (3 non-consecutive weeks), New Zealand (4 consecutive weeks), Canada, Spain and on the U.S. Billboard Hot Dance Music/Club Play Singles chart. It also was a top 3 hit in Belgium, Germany, Iceland, Ireland and Switzerland.

Taken from their debut self titled album this is Blue by UK outfit the Fine Young Cannibals.

The album Fine Young Cannibals was released back in 1985. The success of their UK #8 debut single Johnny Come Home did not continue with the next single, Blue, which languished at #41 in the UK. The version of Blue found on the compact disc is not the same version found on the original cassette (and LP, presumably).

Please also be aware that all videos uploaded to YouTube are format shifted by the host website from the original files. This can often cause picture & sound deterioration (i.e. mono audio) as well as the occasional video/audio synchronization issue. The files are also deliberately layered on our end with logos and artists links in order to prevent YouTube recycling by lazy up-loaders, while at the same time helping to promote the artists themselves!

  • Not the man I used to be - Fine Young Cannibals - with Lyrics

    4:19

When I'm in trouble or out of step
If my balance has been upset
    Oh, there's a feeling I can't accept
There's one thing that helps me to forget
    Wonder what I'm thinking
    Wonder why I'm drinking
    But it's plain to see,
I'm not the man I used to be

If life were easy and didn't ask,
Didn't tease me or take things back
    I could start to understand,
What makes me the man I am

    Wonder what I'm thinking
    Wonder why I'm drinking
    But it's plain to see,
I'm not the man I used to be

    Oh, it's plain and it's a shame
I'm not the man I used to be

I've lost dreams that won't come back,
    Memories fading fast
I should save the ones I have
    What's the use?
    Most of them are bad

    Wonder what I'm thinking
    Wonder why I'm drinking
    But it's plain to see,
I'm not the man I used to be

    Oh, it's plain and it's a shame
    I can't explain
But I'm not the man I used to be
    It's a shame, don't know my name
    I can't explain
I'm not the man I used to be
    Do you know my name?
Do you, do you need me?
    But I'm not the man...
