This Christmas Lyrics:
Hang all the mistletoe
I'm gonna get to know you better
This Christmas
And as we trim the tree
How much fun it's gonna be together
This Christmas
Fireside is blazing bright
We're caroling through the night
And this Christmas will be
A very special Christmas for me
Presents and cards are here
My world is filled with cheer and you
This Christmas
And as I look around
Your eyes outshine the town they do
This Christmas
Fireside is blazing bright
We're caroling through the night
And this Christmas will be
A very special Christmas for me, yeah
Shake a hand, shake a hand now
Emm, fireside is blazing bright
We're caroling through the night
And this Christmas will be
A very special Christmas for me, yeah
Hang all the mistletoe
I'm gonna get to know you better
This Christmas
And as we trim the tree
How much fun it's gonna be together
This Christmas
Fireside is blazing bright
We're caroling through the night
And this Christmas will be
A very special Christmas for me
Merry Christmas
Shake a hand, shake a hand now
Wish your brother merry Christmas
All over the land, yeah
Merry Christmas
Merry, merry Christmas

Donny Hathaway - Yesterday
5:25
yesterday
Yesterday,
All my troubles seemed so far away,
Now it looks as though they're here to stay,
Oh, I believe in yesterday.
Suddenly,
I'm not half the man I used to be,
There's a shadow hanging over me,
Oh, yesterday came suddenly.
Why she
Had to go I don't know, she wouldn't say.
I said,
Something wrong, now I long for yesterday.
Yesterday,
Love was such an easy game to play,
Now I need a place to hide away,
Oh, I believe in yesterday.
Why she
Had to go I don't know, she wouldn't say.
I said,
Something wrong, now I long for yesterday.
Yesterday,
Love was such an easy game to play,
Now I need a place to hide away,
Oh, I believe in yesterday.

Donny Hathaway - I Love You More Than Youll Ever Know
5:28
Donny Edward Hathaway (October 1, 1945 -- January 13, 1979) was an American soul musician.
Hathaway contracted with Atlantic Records in 1969 and with his first single for the Atco label, The Ghetto, Part I in early 1970, Rolling Stone magazine marked him as a major new force in soul music. His collaborations with Roberta Flack scored high on the charts and won him the Grammy Award for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal for the duet, Where Is the Love in 1973. Six years later, his body was found outside the luxury hotel Essex House in New York City; his death was ruled a suicide.
Lyrics
If I ever leave you....you can say I told you so!
And if I ever hurt you baby..... you know I hurt myself as well.
Is that any way for a man to carry on
Do you think I want my loved one gone
Said I love you
More than you'll ever know
More than you'll ever know
When I wasn't making much money
You know where my paycheck went
You know I brought it home to baby
And I never spent a red cent
Is that any way for a man to carry on
Do you think I want my loved one gone
Said I love you
More than you'll ever know
More than you'll ever know
I'm not trying to be
just any kind of man
I'm just trying to be somebody
You can love, trust and understand
I know that I can be
yeaaahhhh
A part of you that no one else could see
I just wanna hear,a hear ya say
its allright
yeahhh yeahhh
I'm only flesh and blood
But I can be everything that you demand
I can be king of everythang
Or just a tiny grain of sand
Is that anyway for a man to carry on
Do you think he wants his little loved one gone
I love you baby, i love you baby
i love youMore than you'll ever know
If I ever leave you....you can say I told you so!
And if I ever hurt you ..... you know I hurt myself as well.
Is that anyway for a man to carry on
Do you think he wants his little loved one gone
I treid to tell ya I love you baby, i love you baby
yea i love you baby
i love you More than you'll ever know
i love you
i love you
i love you baby!!
i told you so many times before
I love you
I love

Donny Hathaway - Someday Well All Be Free
4:08
Donny is no longer here, but this song gathers momentum as part of his legacy... He literally sat in the studio and cried when he heard the playback of his final mix. It's pretty special when an artist can create something that wipes them out.
'It was a spiritual thing for me... What was going through my mind at the time was Donny, because Donny was a very troubled person. I hoped that at some point he would be released from all that he was going through. There was nothing I could do but write something that might be encouraging for him.'
- Edward Howard, lyricist Someday We'll All Be Free
Lyrics:
Hang onto the world as it spins, around.
Just don't let the spin get you down.
Things are moving fast.
Hold on tight and you will last.
Keep your self-respect your manly pride.
Get yourself in gear,
Keep your stride.
Never mind your fears.
Brighter days will soon be here.
Take it from me someday we'll all be free
Keep on walking tall, hold you head up high.
Lay your dreams right up to the sky.
Sing your greatest song.
And you'll keep, going, going on.
Just wait and see someday we'll all be free.
Take it from me, someday we'll all be free.
Take it from me someday we'll all be free.
Take it from me, take it from me, take it from me.
4/16/2010 -- I'm really happy to see that folks are enjoying this video. I posted this last year when I discovered this incredible artist and was sad to not find this great song on YouTube. In keeping with that spirit, I'm wondering if anyone could upload Donny's version of He's Not Heavy, He's My Brother from Songs for You, Live. I had it on CD but lost it, and would love to be able to hear it again. Cheers.

Where is the love
You said you'd give to me
soon as you were free
will it ever be
Where is the love?
You told me that you didn't love him,
and you were gonna say goodbye
but if you really didn't mean it,
why did you have to lie?
Where is the love,
you said was mine all mine, till the end of time
was it just a lie
where is the love
If you had had a sudden change of heart
I wish that you would tell me so
don't leave me hangin on the promises
you've got to let me know
Oh how I wish I never met you
I guess it must have been my fate
to fall in love with someone else's love
all I can do is wait
(that's all I can do)
yeah yeah yeah

Look At Me
I'm, I'm As Helpless As a Kitten Up a Tree
I Feel Like I'm Clinging to a Cloud
I Can't Understand
I Get Misty Holding Your Hand
Yes I do
Walk My Way
And a Thousand, a Thousand Violins Begin to Play
It Maybe the Sound of Your Hello
Ooo the Music
The Music I Hear
Heeeey
You Know
I Get Misty Whenever You're Near
Yeah
You Can Say That You're Leading, Leading Me On
Lordy, But It's Just What I Want to Hear
Havent You Noticed
How Hopelessly in Love
That's Why
That's Why I'm Following You
Yes I Am
Yes I Am
Baby
On My Own
Oooooooo
Let Me Wonder
Let Me Wonder, You Didnt Want to Let Me Know
Never Knowing My Right From My Left
My Half of My Love
Oooooo
Yeah
I'm Too Misty and Too Much in Love
Yes I Am
Ooo
Baby
I'm Too Misty
Yeah
Misty and Too Much
Too Much, Too Much in Love

Donny Hathaway - This Christmas ATCO Records 1970
4:08
This Christmas is a song by American soul musician Donny Hathaway released in 1970 by Atco Records. The song gained renewed interest when it was included in 1991 on Atco Records' revised edition of their 1968 Soul Christmas compilation album and has since become a modern Christmas standard, with the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers reporting that it was the 30th most-performed holiday song of all time.
Phil Upchurch said the song was absolutely the premiere holiday song written by an African American. It was written by Hathaway and Nadine McKinnor.
This Christmas was recorded at Audio Finishers Studio on Ontario Street, Chicago in the fall of 1970. Ric Powell said that Hathaway was very upbeat during the session and that he knew what he wanted to do musically and the impact he wanted to make with this song regarding the representation of African Americans in Christmas music. On writing the song with Hathaway (who died in 1979), Nadine McKinnor said she felt blessed to have written with Donny a song that celebrates the possibilities, the expectations, and the anticipation of Christmas and the good fun and happy loving times, and that the creation of the song was a God plan. God was in this plan. And Donny Hathaway was a genius.
This Christmas was released as a single in 1970, where it saw little success, charting only once on any of Billboard magazine's weekly published music charts. It made Billboard's special Christmas Singles chart on the week of December 23, 1972, peaking at No. 11. In 1991, Atco Records released a revised edition of their 1968 compilation album Soul Christmas that included This Christmas.
Donny Edward Hathaway (October 1, 1945 – January 13, 1979) was an American soul singer, keyboardist, songwriter, and arranger. Hathaway signed with Atlantic Records in 1969 and with his first single for the Atco label, The Ghetto, in early 1970, Rolling Stone magazine marked him as a major new force in soul music. His enduring songs include The Ghetto, This Christmas, Someday We'll All Be Free, Little Ghetto Boy, I Love You More Than You'll Ever Know, signature versions of A Song for You, For All We Know, Where Is the Love and The Closer I Get to You, two of many collaborations with Roberta Flack. Where Is the Love won the Grammy Award for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals in 1973. At the height of his career, Hathaway was diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia. On January 13, 1979, Hathaway's body was found outside the luxury hotel Essex House in New York City; his death was ruled a suicide.
Hang all the mistletoe
I'm gonna get to know you better
This Christmas
And as we trim the tree
How much fun it's gonna be together
This Christmas
Fireside is blazing bright
We're caroling through the night
And this Christmas will be
A very special Christmas for me
Presents and cards are here
My world is filled with cheer, and you
This Christmas
And as I look around
Your eyes outshine the town, they do
This Christmas
Fireside is blazing bright
We're caroling through the night
And this Christmas will be
A very special Christmas for me
Shake a hand, shake a hand now
The fireside is blazing bright
We're caroling through the night
And this Christmas will be
A very special Christmas for me
Hang all the mistletoe
I'm gonna get to know you better
This Christmas
And as we trim the tree
How much fun it's gonna be together
This Christmas
Fireside's blazing bright
We're caroling through the night
And this Christmas will be
A very special Christmas for me
Merry Christmas
Shake a hand, shake a hand now
Wish your brother Merry Christmas

hola vengo con el tercer video con una temática diferente y otro título.
Esta canción se llama Someday we'll all to be free de Donny Hathaway.
