  • National Anthem of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Bulgaria

    3:46

[UPDATED FROM 2013] The National Anthem of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Bulgaria has remained as Mila Rodino like its predecessor. However, their Flag and Coat of Arms has drastically changed, with the Coat of Arms somewhat combining the first iteration and the last and with the addition of the Hammer and Sickle within the Star. As for the Flag, the Coat of Arms has been placed in the center of the Flag with a much larger size, rather than being placed smaller and in the upper-left canton. The New Warsaw Pact and each of the 5 member nations were formed after the 2037-2039 Eastern Bloc Revolutions, which was aided by the New USSR's Armed Forces. Unlike the first Warsaw Pact, East Germany and Albania are absent, and Premier Latyeskov feared that if he were to recapture what was East Germany, a third World War would start. After the formation, diplomats from the Warsaw Pact member states along with ambassadors from the Western European states signed the Geneva Non-Aggression Pact during a conference in Geneva, Switzerland on August 23rd, 2039.

  • Sabaton Coat of Arms,8-3-2017,Piraeus Academy,Athens,Hellas,HD.

    4:30

At dawn envoy arrives, morning of October 28th,
No day proven by deed, descendants of Sparta, Athens and Crete,
Look north, ready to fight, enemies charge from the hills,
True Arms facing defeat, there's No Surrender, there's No Retreat!

Time after time, force their enemies back to the line,

Call to Arms, banners fly in the wind,
    For the Glory of HELLAS,
Coat of Arms reading Freedom or Death,
    Blood of King Leonidas,

Air raid pounding the Land, bombers are flying both day and night,
Endure 6 days of rain dropped by invaders, bomb raid in vain,
Strike hard, the tables have turned, drive them back over the hills,
At Arms just like before, soldiers, civilians, HELLAS at war!

By their own hand, forced their enemy out of their Land,

Call to Arms, banners fly in the wind,
    For the Glory of HELLAS,
Coat of Arms reading Freedom or Death,
    Blood of King Leonidas.

Just like their Ancestors Ages ago,
Fought in the face of defeat,
Those 300 men left a pride to uphold,
    Freedom or death in effect,

Then, now again, blood of Heroes saving their Land,

Call to Arms, banners fly in the wind,
    For the Glory of HELLAS,
Coat of Arms reading Freedom or Death,
    Blood of King Leonidas,

Call to Arms, banners fly in the wind,
    For the Glory of HELLAS,
Coat of Arms reading Freedom or Death,
    Blood of King Leonidas.

  • National Anthem: Bosnia & Herzegovina

    2:18

The National Anthem of Bosnia and Herzegovina, is the name of the official national anthem of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is one of the four national anthems (along with that of Kosovo, Spain and San Marino) in the world to have no official lyrics. The anthem was adopted on 25 June 1999, by the promulgation of the Law on the National Anthem of Bosnia and Herzegovina, replacing the previous anthem, Jedna si jedina, which excluded the country's Serb and Croat communities, this despite the fact that the text does not mention any nationality. It was in use from 10 February 1998, as the flag and coat of arms.

The composer Dušan Šestić from Banja Luka composed the melody, to which initially there were no lyrics under the working title Intermeco, which is commonly referred to as the title of the anthem.

Lyrics written by Dušan Šestić, the original composer, and Benjamin Isović were accepted by a parliamentary commission in February 2009. The decision still requires approval of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the House of Peoples of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The lyrics do not mention the two administrative entities or the constitutional nations that make up the state, and end with the line We are going into the future, together!.

  • Bulgaria National Anthem

    3:02

Originally written and composed by a Bulgarian student in 1885, as he went off to fight in the Serbo-Bulgarian war, the song was titled Горда Стара планина Gorda Stara planina (Proudly Rise the Balkan Peaks). The original song has undergone revisions since its original composition, the latest after the fall of the communist government in 1990 where a verse not in the original song speaking of friendship with Russia was removed. As the national anthem its name comes from the first line of the chorus rather than the first line of the verse.

  • Sabaton - Angels Calling

    5:58

World War I or the First World War lasted from 1914 to 1918 and brought death to about 17 million men. The two opposing alliances were the Central Powers (the German Empire and Austria-Hungary, later also the Ottoman Empire and Bulgaria) and the Entente Powers together with their Allies (Great Britain, France and Russia, later also, among others, Italy, Portugal, Japan and the United States). In 1918 there were 25 nations plus their colonies (in which lived in total 1.35 billion people, about three-quarters of the world's population at that time) at war.
The Treaty of Versailles after the Allied victory laid the foundation-stone for the Second World War two decades later.

    CAUTION!
I won't tolerate any racist, discriminatory or in any other form inappropriate comments! This song neither glorifies war, nor National Socialism, but should be considered as a historical work.
No, we don't glorify anything, we just tell stories about things that have happened. (Rikard Sundén, Sabaton)

Please support Sabaton and purchase their current album Coat of Arms.

    ----------

  • Vaya con Dios Heading for a Fall

    3:41

A turn of the key and the door is pushed open now
He walks into the room but doesn't take off his coat
Kisses me softly without saying a word, now
There's that look in his eyes that makes me feel the cold
When I try to find out 'bout what's troubling his mind
He turns away and sighs and says give me some time
Maybe things would get better if I learned to be patient
What I wanted was love not an imitation and I know it
    We're heading for a fall
For a fall, we're heading for a fall
    We're heading for a fall
    We're heading for a fall
We lie between sheets and he stares at the ceiling now
Me, I'm trying to sleep but I'm trembling inside
If she's haunting his dreams then why don't he say it now?
Why stay if it's her that he wants in the end?
If he tried to explain, I'd try to understand
Maybe I'd feel the same I'm not sure of myself
We surrendered so soon in the arms of temptation now
What I wanted was love not an imitation and I know it
    We're heading for a fall
For a fall, we're heading for a fall
    We're heading for a fall
    We're heading for a fall
    We're heading for a fall
    We're heading for a fall
    We're heading for a fall

  • თავისუფლება | Georgian National Anthem

    1:42

Tavisupleba (Georgian: თავისუფლება,) is the national anthem of Georgia. The anthem, whose title means Freedom, was adopted in 2004, along with the new national flag and coat of arms. The symbols' change was brought about upon the successful overthrow of the previous government in the bloodless Rose Revolution. The music, taken from the Georgian operas Abesalom da Eteri (Abesalom and Eteri) and Daisi (The Nightfall), by the Georgian composer Zachary (Zacharia) Paliashvili (ზაქარია ფალიაშვილი, 1871–1933), was adapted to form the anthem by Ioseb Kechakmadze (იოსებ კეჭაყმაძე). The lyrics were composed by David Magradze (დავით მაღრაძე).

When Soviet Union invaded the Republic of Lithuania in 1940, the country changed flag, coat of arms but the national anthem Tautiška giesmė was retained in this new puppet state. When Nazis taken the territory, all symbols were abolished to 1944, when Soviets take the land again in the Baltic offensive. In this year, was proclamed official national anthem of LSSR to 1950, when was created the new national anthem Tarybinę Lietuvą.

    Acclarations:

    - The two pages of the book on video are from 1946, and contain the Soviet National Anthem in Lithuanian (Stalinist Version) and Tautiška giesmė.

    - The fisrt line of third stanza says Lietuvos and not Lietuvoj.

Intermezzo (Intermeco) je naslov muzičke podloge nove nacionalne himne Bosne i Hercegovine.

  • Serbian Rulers/ Srpski vladari

    7:09

The House of Nemanjić (Serbian: Немањићи, Nemanjići; Anglicised: Nemanyid; German: Nemanjiden) was a medieval Serbian ruling dynasty.

The Stefan dynasty - House of Nemanjić was named after Stefan Nemanja. It was descended from the cadet line of the House of Vojislavljević. The House of Nemanjić produced eleven Serbian monarchs between 1166 and 1371.

After Stefan Nemanja had taken Stefan as his name, all the subsequent monarchs of the house used it as sort of title. Soon it became inseparable from the monarchy, and all claimants denoted their royal pretensions by using the same name, in front of their original names.

Rulers of this dynasty wore the titles Grand Princes of Rascia from 1166. After the crowning of Stefan the First-Crowned in 1217, the full title[citation needed] of the dynasty was King of the land of Rascia, Doclea, Travunia, Dalmatia and Zachlumia, although a shorter version of the title was King of the Serbs. Following the elevation of members of the dynasty to the status of Emperors in 1346, the title became Tsar of All Serbs, Albanians, Greeks and Bulgarians.

The family crest was a bicephalic argent eagle on a red shield, inherited from the Byzantine Paleologus dynasty.

The House of Nemanjić ruled the Serb lands between c. 1166 and 1371.

Compared with other dynasties of Serbian lands, which usually lost their position in much less than a century, the Nemanjićs were exceptionally mighty and well-sustained ruling dynasty, and its legacy is respected among Serbs.
