!!! BIG NEWS !!!

Many of you might have guessed it already, now it's official: Leonhard W., founder of Araxas and mastermind behind the project for the first 5 demos, will withdraw from Araxas. Here an official statement:

Araxas was a great experience. It was overwhelming, how supportive the fans have been. When I started this project, I couldn't imagine how supported it will become and how much people would like it. Unfortunately, I can't find the time beside all the other stuff I'm doing (university, everday life, other musical things, etc...) to continue with this project. Nevertheless, I found a solution to withdraw from Araxas and satisfy the fans (that means you, the people which are reading these words at the moment) as well: I worked together with a good friend of mine, Marco S., who teached me a lot about good mixing and producing stuff. I also teached him a lot about the way I wrote pieces for Araxas and how I want them to sound. So Marco and I started recording new Araxas stuff, because we both think that Araxas shouldn't simply die without releasing any full labum. So here it comes:

There will be A FULL ARAXAS ALBUM in 2015!

It will contain a lot of new stuff, and also 1 or 2 re-recordings of older stuff, but most important: it will sound amazing! The new stuff is written by Marco, although I helped him out a lot and showed him how I want the new Araxas stuff to sound. Here you can get first impressions of the new sound.

So, as I see it, everyone profits from this situation: You get a full Araxas album, with a new, much better produced sound, but you will clearly hear that it is still Araxas, because Marco won't release anything I don't like, and I can withdraw in peace from Araxas to focus on other things in my life, by knowing that Araxas is in very good hands and that the fans will hear new stuff after nearly 5 years.

If you want to contact Araxas, please contact this e-mail. You can leave messages, order Araxas' older demos (there are still about 60 of each in stock) or simply stay updated for the new album.

You'll soon get the possibilty to subscribe to a newsletter, or to pre-order the album... Some of you might even get the chance to be a part of the new album, but more on that later ;-)
