    Features:
The OD side is designed to sound like a vintage tube amp from the 60s and 70s. These tones have become legendary in the minds of all rock guitar players. The controls are very simple and straight forward. The output knob controls the effected output level going to your amp. The input level is controlled by your guitar's volume knob – just as it is when you plug into a vintage amp. By adjusting your guitar’s volume control you can drastically change the tone and response of the pedal and we encourage you to experiment in this area. The year knob determines the amount of gain you send to the pedals overdrive circuit. By rotating the knob clockwise, towards '77, the sound becomes more distorted producing a rich harmonic texture. This will enhance every note and chord you play, especially power chords…very cool! And just like a vintage tube amp the clarity of each note can still be heard. The circuit is also very touch sensitive responding to your own personal playing style. The tone switch was added to allow you to roll back some of the lower frequencies. Depending on the type of pickups you have in your guitar this switch can really help put the finishing touches on your sound.

The Fuzz side is one of the best sounding fuzz faces on the planet. Just like the OD side the controls are simple and easy to use. The input pot controls the amount of signal coming into the pedal. The output pot determines the amount of effected signal that is sent to your amp. The Haze control determines the intensity of the fuzz saturation. Unlike a conventional fuzz control, which is typically found on many Fuzz Faces, the Haze control and the input control work together in shaping your sound. Depending on how the two are adjusted you can go from a voodoo wall of Fuzz to one of the sweetest sounding overdrives in the galaxy. The tone switch functions identically as it does in the OD circuit, offering you even more tone shaping flexibility. Don’t be afraid to play with your guitar’s output control, too. Unlike most fuzz faces the Fuzz won’t get too thin when you turn your guitar’s volume down.

The true flexibility of this pedal lies in the fact that both sides are designed to work together. Although they’re two different circuits one can be made to sound similar to the other. In other words there's a little yin and yang thing going on here.

Each pedal also comes complete with a purple cooler lunch bag and a bottle of Alien bubbles.

The Analog Alien Joe Walsh Double Classic guitar pedal demo by Tony Pasko!

This IS Joe Walsh’s signature sound in a guitar effects pedal!
We were honored to collaborate with Joe Walsh to release his first-ever, signature, multi-effects stompbox; created in honor of his 50-year career. Joe Walsh is the legendary guitarist of The Eagles, The Barnstorms, The James Gang, The Party Boys and Ringo Starr & His All-Starr Band. This unique, dual effects, one-of-a-kind pedal combines two essential circuits (Compressor & Classic Amp) which Joe uses in both live performances and studio recordings. The JWDC offers studio-inspired vintage guitar tones at the stomp of a footswitch.

The Classic Amp circuit emulates many of the tube amp tones Joe Walsh is known for. The Compressor delivers a detailed, studio-style compression inspired by rackmounted designs and the Pre/Post switch allows you to place the compression before, or after, the amplifier circuit. Whether you’re looking for Joe’s signature tone, or just a great vintage amp sound, the Joe Walsh Double Classic is for you.

The compression circuit in Joe Walsh’s signature pedal delivers a pristine, produced quality that shares much more in common with rackmount studio compressors than many of today’s compression guitar pedals. Whether you want a straight tone or a tone with some amplifier color, the compression circuit is completely independent of the Classic Amp section of the pedal. This gives you full access to the compressed sounds. Inspired by the hardware used at Cloud 9 Recording Studio, the JWDC allows Joe to access his studio tones wherever he is performing.

The 4-control layout on the Classic Amp section makes putting together great guitar tones simple. You get just the essentials of bass, treble, gain and output – but you can easily access all sorts of different tube amp sounds. From clean and sparkling to fat and driven, a twist of the Gain knob gets you there instantly. And discerning guitarists love how the 100% analog signal path of the Joe Walsh Double Classic pedal ensures your guitar tone shines through. The Classic Amp was designed to simulate the classic tube amps that Joe has used over the years. The controls on a classic tube amp were designed to be simple and straight-forward and the same is true for the Classic Amp.

The onboard Pre/Post switch acts as a virtual patchbay for your compression and amp tones. With a flip of the switch, you can place the compression circuit before, or after, the Classic Amp section. Joe Walsh uses this extensively – dialing in the amp side to shape and push the compression circuit into a smoother more natural drive of its own. Either way you run it, at your disposal, you’ll have premium tones inspired by Joe Walsh.

  • Analog Alien - Power Pack demo by Tony Pasko

    ****** ANALOG ALIEN - SOUND DIFFERENT! ******

For More Info, go to our website at:

In this Demo Video, Guitarist Tony Pasko, takes the Analog Alien Power Pack for a test drive!

This 100% analog device is a strong candidate for your always-on pedal while also being able to add just the right amount of power for getting above the band. Analog Alien pedals are well known for their top-tier components and tone. The Power Pack clean boost pedal displays this commitment to quality in spades.

Analog Alien is all about tonal purity. All our designs are inspired by the top-quality gear we use in our Cloud 9 Recording Studio. When we engineered the Power Pack, keeping an all-analog circuit was a top priority. Just as in a great vintage amp, this allows you the ability to control the gain of your signal by the way you play your guitar. And the true-bypass switch maintains your signal’s integrity, even with the pedal switched off. Guitarists can’t get enough of this pedal!

Gain – the key to using the Power Pack efficiently is to use your ears. Where to set the Gain control on the Power Pack depends on the design of your amplifier’s circuit and the amount of boost you are trying to achieve.

Distortion/Overdrive – the Power Pack is a clean boost, not a distortion/overdrive pedal. Distortion and overdrive are produced by using the Power Pack to boost your guitar amplifier’s input. This, in turn, enables the amplifier to produce the desired amount of distortion and/or overdrive, on its own.

Using smaller vintage tube amps – if your preference is to use smaller vintage tube amps, you may have experienced a situation where you wished you could get more output from them. Inside many of these smaller amps is a much larger amp waiting to get out and be heard. If your vintage amp is maxed out at 10, and you wish it could go to 12, then the Power Pack is your ticket-to-ride.

Restoring unity gain – the Power Pack is also perfect to restore unity gain to your signal, or to improve the sound and performance of the other pedals in your signal chain. Try experimenting by placing the Power Pack at the beginning, or at the end, of your signal path. Adjust the Gain control until the desired output level is achieved.

  • Analog Alien - Bucket Seat demo by Tony Pasko

    3:58

    ****** ANALOG ALIEN - SOUND DIFFERENT! ******

For More Info, go to our website at:

In this video, A.A. artist Tony Pasko demos the Analog Alien Bucket Seat Pedal.

The Analog Alien Bucket Seat overdrive pedal gets cranked British amp tones from any amp. Our first single-effect unit, the Bucket Seat has a smooth break up and retains the guitar’s dynamics, even at high overdrive settings. Never harsh or brittle, this pedal can go from a clear, clean tone to a harmonically rich distortion – with a twist of a knob. And its 100% analog circuitry ensures the pedal is amazingly touch-sensitive.

There are very few guitar tones as identifiable as a cranked Marshall, especially those from the late ’60s. Now you can have that sound with this high-quality, overdrive pedal. Like the amplifier, use of the pedal couldn’t be easier. Just crank up the three knobs to your desired sound – and go! Whether you’re looking for a highly-driven tone, or just want to enjoy the clarity and sensitivity of these amps [without the deafening volume], the Bucket Seat gives it to you.

    Go from clean to scream.
At a Gain setting of 2 o’clock, the Bucket Seat reaches its maximum gain. Once you go past this point, the overdrive tone becomes more complex and harmonically rich. Turn it all the way up (clockwise) and you’ll get a very sweet overdrive [with plenty of harmonics]. When the Gain control is turned off (counter-clockwise), the Bucket Seat produces very little gain. At this setting, you can use the Bucket Seat as a master output and tone control. If you want to introduce just a little drive, try increasing the Gain control up (clockwise) – a little. This will give your guitar’s sound attitude and really make it jump out of your amp!

  • Analog Alien Double Classic

    12:05

We are honored to collaborate with Joe Walsh to release his first ever signature multi-effects stompbox in his near 50-year career: The Joe Walsh Double Classic. The Joe Walsh Double Classic, or JWDC for short, is a dual effects pedal that we designed specifically for Joe Walsh. This unique, one of a kind pedal, combines two essential circuits (Compressor & Classic Amp), which Joe uses in both live performances and studio recordings.
The Compressor in the JWDC allows you to control the dynamic range of your instrument. Unlike most stomp box compressors, the compressor in the JWDC has a very natural and musical sound – much like professional rack mounted compressors found in professional studios.
The Classic Amp was designed to simulate the classic tube amps that Joe has used over the years. The sound of these vintage amps is legendary and can be heard on countless recordings that Joe has made through out his career. The controls on a classic tube amp were designed to be simple and straight-forward and the same is true for the Classic Amp.

  • Analog Alien Bucket Seat

    10:53

The Bucket Seat is the same Rumble Drive circuit that is found in our 5-star pedal the “Rumble Seat” – which is herald by artists like James Burton (Elvis Presley), Stevie Wonder, and Joe Walsh (The Eagles, Ringo Starr & His All-Starr Band). Everything from mild overdrive to a full on high gain assault is possible with the Bucket Seat.

The sound of the Bucket Seat is never harsh or brittle. It has a smooth break up and retains a lot of the guitar’s dynamics even at high overdrive settings. At a Gain setting of 2 o’clock, the Bucket Seat reaches its maximum gain. Once you go past this point the overdrive tone becomes more complex and harmonically rich. Turn it all the way up (clockwise) and you’ll get a very sweet overdrive with plenty of harmonics! When the “Gain” control is turned off (counter-clockwise), the Bucket Seat produces very little gain. At this setting you can use the Bucket Seat as a master output and tone control. If you want to introduce just a little drive, try increasing the “Gain” control up (clockwise) a little. This will give your guitar’s sound attitude and really make it jump out of your amp!

In this video, Tony Pasko demos the Alien Comp. pedal!

Our Alien Comp pedal has a natural sound and is very musical – much like high-end rack mounted compressors found in professional studios. Adjust the Radio setting from moderate to heavy compression, create a very effective clean boost, or boost your amp from subtle to full overdrive [with just a few turns of the control knobs]. Using the same compressor circuit from our Joe Walsh Double Classic pedal, this pedal is acclaimed by players far and wide.

    Alien Comp Pedal:
    • Compressor pedal for electric guitar
    • Ratio ranges from 2:1 (subtle compression) to 10:1 (heavy compression)
    • Crank up the Output level control to use as a clean boost
    • Dial the Sensitivity control back for pickups with hotter output
    • Increase the Sensitivity control for lower-output pickups

Guitarist Mike Hermans put his playing chops to work again on this video for the Analog Alien Bucket Seat!

  • Analog Alien: Joe Walsh Double Classic Compressor/Classic Amp

    9:18

Joe Walsh needs no introduction. He's a living legend who continues to get better with age after having already left a hugely significant amount of amazing music for us all to enjoy. Legend. Recently Joe Walsh got together with brothers Jack and Joe Napoli of Analog Alien to design a dual compressor/classic amp overdrive pedal that Joe actually uses on stage in his solo outfit and with The Eagles. The Double Classic is that pedal. If you're looking for a primo compressor doubled with a low-medium gain preamp/overdrive, then look no further, folks. Important features like pre/post compressor placement (in relation to the Classic Amp) and input Sensitivity give this pedal serious versatility that is only briefly explored in this video. You should try one for yourself.

    Today's tools:

  • Analog Alien ALIEN TWISTER fuzz pedal of bliss demoed with Les Paul

    8:21

One of the coolest companies out there, as they not only build KILLER fx pedals, they also tug on our hearts as consumers, and give excellent swag in their packaging. This is a super awesome, versatile fuzz and overdrive with a switchable buffer. The In and Out knobbies, really interact and react with each other to give you a wide range of sounds and levels of gain. DIG!!!

I used my Gibson R9 Les Paul, cocked, rocked, and loaded with JGC Custom Wound PAF pickups, the PRS Sonzera 20 combo amp...wired for sound with Bullet Cable White Coily Cable of Love, Devine Noise white straight cable of doom, and mic'd up with a Telefunken Dynamic Mic, and Royer R121 Ribbon Microphone. YEP!

  • Analog Alien: RUMBLE SEAT Drive | Delay | Reverb - Demo

    8:06

This pedal must be up there with the greatest ever go-tos for instant fun, function and portability. The Analog Alien Rumble Seat gives you a killer '69 Plexi Drive along with a 25-650ms warm delay and one of the best Blackface Spring Reverbs I've heard. You can use each of the effects separately or run them together for styles ranging from rockabilly through to punk and classic rock.

The Rumble Seat ships with a One-Spot power supply but any decent 9VDC regulated PS will do the trick. The Rumble Seat draws just over 100mA when all effects are kicked in and about 85mA when in idle mode.

The guys at Analog Alien are proud to say that Stevie Wonder is a Rumble Seat fan and user so the pedal is not limited to use with a guitar as Stevie uses his with a Clavinet.

I hope the video tells the story. The Rumble Seat is a great pedal and well worth a try.

    A little about me:
Sean Daniel is a man. A man of simple needs and desires. And the one desire, no, the one NEED, that stands above all is to spread the challenges, joy and intellectual stimulus of music to people of Earth and beyond.
Born on the mean streets of upper middle class suburban Chicago, Sean learned the ways of the world through the dizzying heights of success to the lonesome depths of failure and emerged with the promise of a better tomorrow reflecting in his eyes and fiery passion in his belly.
He plays and teaches guitar on his YouTube channel where he regularly releases original music and projects to the adulation of legions of fans, who often compare him to Chris Pratt and one time Ryan Reynolds. He’s currently in the market for a nice leather jacket.

  • Analog Alien Double Classic Pedal | Everything You Need To Know

Jack Napoli of Analog Alien gives us a first hand look at the Double Classic. Check it out!

    Buy Now:

    Features:
The Double Classic is designed mimic the authentic Joe Walsh style and sound. This unique, one of a kind pedal, combines two essential circuits (Compressor & Classic Amp), which Joe uses in both live performances and studio recordings.

    COMPRESSOR
The Compressor in the JWDC allows you to control the dynamic range of your instrument. Unlike most stomp box compressors, the compressor in the JWDC has a very natural and musical sound – much like professional rack mounted compressors found in professional studios.

    CLASSIC AMP
The Classic Amp was designed to simulate the classic tube amps that Joe has used over the years. The sound of these vintage amps is legendary and can be heard on countless recordings that Joe has made through out his career. The controls on a classic tube amp were designed to be simple and straight-forward and the same is true for the Classic Amp.

    PRE/POST SWITCH
The Pre/Post switch allows you to place the compressor before or after the Classic Amp in the signal chain. With the switch in the “Pre” position (down), the compressor is placed before the Classic Amp. With the switch in the “Post” (up) position the compressor is placed after the Classic Amp in the signal chain.

  • Analog Alien: ALIEN COMP Compressor

    6:41

The Alien Comp by Analog Alien is an opcomp based compressor whose circuit is lifted from the Joe Walsh Double Classic, another Analog Alien pedal that has attracted favourable and global attention. The Alien Comp is not your standard 'squish' box; it draws largely from high-end studio compressors and offers more of a transparent boost with a subtler compression ratio on tap (2:1 - 10:1). It welcomes hot and moderate output pickups equally thanks to its input signal 'Sensitivity' control and will add to your tone that little 'something' that may well see it being used by many as an 'always on' device. If you're in the market for a refined but easy to use compressor, you should have a closer look at the Alien Comp.

  • Analog Alien Alien Twister Pedal | Everything You Need To Know

    3:51

Jack Napoli of Analog Alien gives us a first hand look at the Alien Twister. Check it out!

    But Now

    Features:
The Input Control adjusts the level of the signal that is sent to the input of the Alien Twister and is a very handy feature to have on a fuzz pedal. It not only makes the Alien Twister more versatile, but when combined with the stab control, it offers you, the guitarist, a greater spectrum of tonal possibilities.

The Output Control sets the amount of output signal that is sent to your amp. Beware! The Alien Twister has a lot of output gain – A LOT! It reaches unity gain at 10 O'Clock!

The Stab Control adjusts the amount of voltage that is sent to the final transistor stage of the Alien Twister. Turning the Stab Control counter-clockwise to the left decreases the voltage. The more this control is turned to the left, the more the notes will tend to splatter and will have less definition. Turning the Stab Control clockwise to the right increases the voltage level. The result is a stronger sounding fuzz with lots of sustain and greater note definition. The sensitivity of this control depends on how strong your pickups are and how you set the input control on the AT. The Stab Control works hand in glove with the input control. Both can be adjusted to allow you to go from a thick vintage fuzz to a full rich distortion, and finally to an expressive overdrive.

You may have read or heard about placing a buffer in your signal chain, but what is a buffer? A buffer is a simple preamp circuit that has a high input impedance and a low output impedance. The buffer adds no gain to the signal, but by converting the impedance from high to low, it gives the signal the strength it needs to make its way through long cable runs, as well as through the circuitry of the other pedals that you may have in your signal chain. A well designed buffer, like the one in the Alien Twister, will accomplish this without loss of tone or signal level.

  • Analog Alien Rumble Seat

    5:56

$379.00 Analog Alien Rumble Seat Overdrive/Delay/Reverb
The Rumble Seat is actually 3 effects pedals in one super cool enclosure! We designed the Rumble Seat with Rockabilly players in mind, but the sonic textures and possibilities of this amazing and flexible pedal will take you far beyond Rockabilly. Everything is possible with the Rumble Seat -- from Surf music to Punk to Hard Rock. The Rumble Seat can easily replace 3 pedals, saving you valuable space on your pedal board. You can have each effect on one at one time or you can have just two or all three. It's all up to you, the guitarist.

Analog Alien Rumble Seat Overdrive/Delay/Reverb Features:
    Rumble Drive:
The Rumble Drive simulates a vintage Marshall 69 Plexi amp. It has 3 controls:
Output -- knob controls the direct output level when the Rumble Drive is engaged. The more you turn it up, the more output you send to your amp.
Tone -- control is very versatile and sensitive. You can dial in the right amount of treble or bass depending on the guitar you use and its pickups.
Gain -- knob controls the amount of gain you send to the circuit.
The sound of the Rumble Drive is never harsh or brittle. It has a smooth break up and retains a lot of the guitar's dynamics even at high overdrive settings. At a gain setting of 2 o'clock, the Rumble Drive reaches its maximum gain. Once you go past this point there is no more gain left, but the overdrive tone becomes more complex and harmonically rich. Turn it all the way up and you'll get a very sweet overdrive with loads of harmonics! When the Gain control is turned off all the way to the left, the Rumble Drive produces very little or no gain at all. At this setting you can use the Rumble drive as a master output and tone control. If you engage the Delay & Reverb circuits and use the Rumble Drive output as a clean boost and the tone knob as a master tone control, you can enhance the sound of the Delay or Reverb or both. If you want to introduce just a little drive, try increasing the Gain control up a little. This will give your Rockabilly riffs attitude and really make them jump out of your amp!
    Delay:
The Delay in the Rumble Seat is about as sweet as it gets. With delay times that range from 25ms to 650ms, going from a Rockabilly slap to a Gilmourish long delay trail is as easy as a turn of the knob. Let's have a look at the controls:
Delay -- Controls the time of the delay. At full left, the delay time is 25ms. At full right, the delay time is 650ms. The delay circuit is very natural and smooth. If you want to kick it up a notch and give it a bit of attitude, just add in a little Rumble Drive. The one thing that you will notice is that your guitar's tone will remain full and rich. Some delay circuits rob the guitar of its low end. That doesn't happen with the Delay on the Rumble Seat. Like a vintage tape delay, the more you overdrive the delay on the Rumble Seat, the sweeter it gets.
Repeats -- Controls the amount of repeats the effect will produce. At full left, only one repeat will be present. At full right, the delay goes to infinity -- this setting is more like an effect as the repeats trail over themselves making the Rumble Seat sound like a space ship taking off!
Mix -- Controls the amount of dry (no effect) and wet (total delay) signals. At full left, only the direct uneffected signal of the guitar is heard. At full right, only the effected delay sound of the guitar is heard. As with all the controls on the Rumble Seat, set this to suit your taste.
    Reverb:
Many consider the reverb on a vintage Fender Black Face amp to be The Holy Grail of all spring reverbs and we humbly agree. So when we set out to design the reverb circuit on the Rumble Seat, there was no better place to start. We have four vintage Black Face amps at our studio, Cloud 9 Recording, where all of our pedals were born. When we voice the reverb in the Rumble Seat, we A/B it every step of the way with the original circuit found in those amps. You will be hard pressed to tell the difference between the two of them. We don't believe in making things complicated and the Reverb circuit is a fine example of that philosophy -- it has one control that is simple and straightforward. Turn it all the way to the left for no reverb. Turn it all the way to the right and you get enough reverb to fill the Grand Canyon! The sound is never brittle. It is dark and rich with plenty of shimmer, just like a Black Face amp. It's that simple.

    ****** ANALOG ALIEN - SOUND DIFFERENT! ******

For More Info, go to our website at:

Brett Kingman demos the Analog Alien Alien Comp Pedal!

A highly effective clean boost pedal [when set appropriately], the Alien Comp pedal allows you to optimize the dynamics of your tone while pushing your tube amplifier into sweet overdrive. This pedal plays nicely with humbuckers and even single-coil pickups, allowing you to coax great tone from any guitar.

With a ratio range of 2:1 to 10:1, the Alien Comp is capable of everything – from subtle smoothing to hard-stop compression. Its Output control has plenty of gain on tap to push your amp hard. Just back off on the Ratio while pushing the Sensitivity to about three o’clock. Then, boost the Output control to taste.

  • Analog Alien Bass Station Pedal | Everything You Need To Know

    7:00

Jack Napoli of Analog Alien gives us a first hand look at the Bass Station. Check it out!

    Buy Now:

    Features:
This unique one of a kind pedal combines three essential effects that all bass players should have: Limiter/Compressor, Amp Generator and Gamma Fuzz”.

The Limiter/Compressor section allows you to control your bass guitar’s dynamic range without squashing your tone into extinction. The Amp Generator has the characteristics of a tube bass amp, similar to a classic Ampeg B-15. The Gamma Fuzz is truly unique among fuzz pedals. Stronger and lower frequencies will produce more fuzz. Your bass will take on a whole new expressive harmonic richness when you run it though the Gamma Fuzz.

But the Alien Bass Station is not limited to just bass guitar alone. History has shown us that some of the best designs originally intended for bass, like the legendary Fender Bassman, have become essential favorites among guitar players as well. When you plug a guitar into the ABS the character of the pedal changes and becomes an entirely different animal.

The ABS is an essential tool for any bass player to have, while at the same time it can be a guitar player’s secret weapon. Each Alien Bass Station comes with its own custom cooler bag and external power supply.

  • Cloud 9 Audio: Analog Alien FuzzBubble-45

    3:20

I love a great dual function pedal, especially one as cool as this. In the FuzzBubble-45 you get a monster Fuzz Face with extras and a great old-school overdrive. Appropriately they're named 'Pete' and 'Jimi'. I can assure you both of the sounds that you'd associate with those hallowed names can be found in this pedal.

This is Part 1 of a 3 part series I'll be doing on this mighty purple box. I used my trusty Strat fitted with Mick Brierley's pickups and an Achillies Amplification '59 Bassman. Part 2 will be a more involved look at the 'Jimi' side of the FuzzBubble-45 and Part 3 will be a general look with a Les Paul.

This pedal rocks, make no mistake. Check it out if you can. But don't just take my word for it. There's a great review at Premier Guitar to check out as well -

    Cheers and Happy New Year.
