    6:13

Cream - White Room live at Royal Albert Hall, London.
    May 2, 3, 5, 6. 1080p
    17 of 22

In May of 2005 Cream returned to London's Royal Albert Hall-to the same stage where they had completed what was thought to be their final performance in 1968. It was one of the most eagerly anticipated, hard-to-get tickets in rock history. With the exception of a brief reunion set at their 1993 induction into the Rock and roll Hall of Fame, Cream had not played together in nearly four decades. This DVD documents Cream's momentous London shows. Performances from each of the four nights are featured and much more. Also included are alternate performances and interviews with Ginger Baker, Jack Bruce, and Eric Clapton. Cream formed in 1966 and disbanded in 1968. The band were a prolific and thrilling live act and toured incessantly in their short but remarkable history.

“ALL ONE TONIGHT (LIVE AT THE ROYAL ALBERT HALL)”
WORLDWIDE IN STORES ON JULY 27TH 2018

On October 13, 2017, Marillion played at the Royal Albert Hall for the very first time. The concert was sold out in a split second and the audience, travelling from all over the world, was rewarded with an incredible Marillion show.

In two parts, “All One Tonight (Live At The Royal Albert Hall)” firstly showcases the band’s acclaimed 2016 studio album “F*** Everyone And Run (F E A R)” in full. Accompanied by an awe-inspiring light show and films, Marillion perform their incisive and era-defining zeitgeist with unparalleled passion and power.
The second half introduces In Praise Of Folly and guests, a string quartet with flute and French horn that throughout the rest of the show inject an extra depth and emotion to some of Marillion’s best-loved live material.

The concert film “All One Tonight (Live At The Royal Albert Hall)” was directed and edited by Tim Sidwell and recorded and mixed by Michael Hunter. The Blu-ray comes with exclusive bonus material such as a 35mins documentary and the sensational screen media.

  • Cream SWLABR Jack Bruce Tribute RIP

    2:35

Cream SWLABR from 1967 Disraeli Gears album with multi-photo memory slideshow tribute to Jack Bruce (Rest In Peace), whose muscular yet melodic bass lines helped power the British rock trio Cream. Jack Bruce died Saturday, October 25, 2014 at 71, according to a post on the musician's Facebook page. British musician Jack Bruce was best known as bass player and vocalist for the power trio Cream.

It is with great sadness that we, Jack's family, announce the passing of our beloved Jack: husband, father, granddad, and all round legend, the note reads. The world of music will be a poorer place without him, but he lives on in his music and forever in our hearts. Rolling Stone reported that Bruce's publicist said the bassist died at his home in Suffolk, England.

Best known for such late-'60s hits as White Room and Sunshine of Your Love, Cream featured Bruce (who also sang) along with singer-guitarist Eric Clapton and drummer Ginger Baker; each had previously established himself in the British blues-rock scene, leading many to regard the band as a so-called supergroup.

It worked quickly: Fresh Cream, the trio's first studio album, came out in 1966, followed by Disraeli Gears in 1967 and Wheels of Fire in 1968. Goodbye, the band's final disc (with several live tracks recorded at the Forum in Inglewood), appeared in 1969, though by that time the group had already broken up.

Bassist Jack Bruce, left, drummer Ginger Baker and Eric Clapton of Cream perform live onstage at London's Royal Albert Hall in 2005 during their first reunion concert. The band broke up in 1968.

Bruce then began a long solo career before reuniting with Cream in 1993, when the band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and again in 2005 for concerts at London's Royal Albert Hall and New York's Madison Square Garden. Bruce's most recent solo album, Silver Rails, came out in March. Source: Los Angeles Times
    ---
February 8, 2015 Update: During the 57th Annual broadcast on CBS, the Grammy Awards acknowledged Jack Bruce as one of the music greats we lost last year in 2014.
