    Cryptic Abuse - Morbid

    3:43

this is a side project I was in called Cryptic Abuse. you probably won't hear anything from us for various reasons. the EP we were working on last year features this track but its not out; and probably wont be for a long time, if ever, so thats why i made this vid to let people hear some of the drumming that may never see the light of day. this is a scratch track of the song i got a long time ago and is one of the only ones with an actual guitar on it rather than guitar pro. i guess this track is just called morbid

i've been trying for a while now to be able to record this song but its been hard since it has runs at 280 BPM and i've only been able to sort of handle that tempo on and off over the last 6 months (when i've had the time to actually practice every day with my max speed) after 2 months of building my chops again i'm pretty stoked to have this done finally.

i had to record the vid with my two computers internal cameras. one of my computers is pretty old and does some weird thing where the aperture wont let in a lot of light and makes it dark the whole time. sometimes this lasts for weeks even with restarting my computer. i tried to light the picture up with final cut as well and it was just changing the exposure within a circular area of the center of the picture so sorry it looks like crap but you get the gist of it. fast stuff. I also wish you could hear the toms on certain parts a little better but i recorded with 2 mics and an input from a module for a kick but i think it came out pretty decently. any way, enjoy!

The Black Dahlia Murder - Receipt - Alan Cassidy ONE TAKE LIVE PLAYTHROUGH

    3:44

I USE SWIVEL TECHNIQUE. sorry this isnt professional at all. i wasn't paying attention to the screen on the camera to see that this was blurred and also i have no recording equipment but i'm getting ready for tour and since Abysmal just came out i figured I'd use my girlfriendsT6i video features to just record the room sound and video. i just have the PA speakers on for the kick triggers. i also edited this with Imovie cause i am also without a good editing program at the moment so with its limited ability to push the song into just the right spot with the drums its just slightly off from me but i figure its close enough. you'll all see it on tour any way.

    my set up includes
Sabian Cymbals, Evans Heads, Tama Drums, and Vater Sticks.

Slugdge - War Squids Instrumental Play Through ft. Alan Cassidy

    8:02

A lot of people don't know that I joined Slugdge (Slug-Juh)(Willowtip Records) back in April 2018 right after their latest album Esoteric Malacology (which this song is off of) came out in March of that year. (I'm still very much apart of TBDM)

This album and all other albums from the band have utilized programmed drums and this is the first time they have ever had a drummer or bassist in the band or done a performance of any of the material.

again, this is just a play through of something that was already written by the original band members so i'm just playing the parts (moat, the bassist, has written some of his own bass lines for this song).

if you like it check us out on Spotify, Bandcamp, Youtube, you know. google us or something.
