  • The Ongoing Concept Makes Spaghetti and Coffee - COOKING AT 65MPH Ep. 6


    Each episode of Cooking at 65mph features a touring musician cooking their signature dish that they prepare while on tour. In this episode, Dawson Scholz, from the hard rock band, The Ongoing Concept, makes spaghetti and coffee, in the trailer of his band's van.

    Coffee grounds - 3 tbsp
    Water - 3 cups
    Cream - to your liking
    Sugar - to your liking

    Angel hair noodles - 1 to 1.5 cups
    Hunts spaghetti sauce - 1 large can
    Green onions - 1/4 cup
    Cheddar cheese - 1/3 cup
    Sugar - to your liking

    Cooking Directions (demonstrated in the video):
    1. Put your coffee grounds into a filter.
    2. Add water and push the start brewing button (this will vary depending on the brand of the machine).
    3. Put the amount of cream and sugar you'd like into your mug and then pour your hot coffee over the cream and sugar.
    4. Enjoy your coffee while your make the spaghetti.

    1. Get out your dual electric burner and turn it on high.
    2. Fill your pot about halfway with water and bring it to a boil, which might take a while because hot plates don't heat up as fast as a normal stove would.
    3. Once water is boiling, add your pasta to the water.
    4. Cook the pasta until it is al dente. Times may vary depending on the strength of your heat.
    5. Drain the water from your cooked pasta.
    6. Use a can opener to open the sauce can. Add sauce into the pot with your cooked pasta and bring it to a bowl.
    7. Once it reaches a bowl, add the amount of green onions and sugar that you want.
    8. Plate your spaghetti and add the amount of cheddar cheese you'd prefer. If the cheese doesn't melt, you can use a microwave help speed up the process.
    9. Enjoy your meal!

    Sharing with you my own version of Spaghetti


    1kg Pasta
    Sweet Tomato Sauce (nabili ko ng 114php yung Pasta and Tomato Sauce for 2) Fiesta yung brand nya
    1gloves garlic
    1whole white onion
    1/2 kg Pork
    1 whole eden cheese
    1 teaspoon ground pepper
    1 condenced milk (i used Doreen brand)
    1whole carrots
    (Sorry sanay ako sa pagtanya ng mga ingredients)

    Paano lutuin?

    Spaghetti Pasta
    1. Magpakulo ng tubig
    2. Pag kumukulo na maglagay ng 1 teaspoon salt and 1 teaspoon oil para hindi dumikit
    3. Ilagay ang pasta ng 15-20mins

    Spaghetti Sauce
    1. Unang ilagay ang oil sa mainit na kawali
    2. Isunod ang bawang hanggang pumula, isunod ang sibuyas until its transparent
    3. Ilagay ang carrots(lutuin ng mga 2mins)
    4. Isunod ang giniling at lutuin ng 4-6mins (pwede din maglagay ng hotdog if mga bata ang kakain)
    5. Ilagay ang tomato sauce at condenced milk
    6. Ilagay ang ground pepper

    Sa video habang niluluto ang sauce pinaghalo ko na ang tomato sauce and pasta. Try it sometime kung gusto mong hindi mapanis ang spaghetti na lulutin mo at umabot kinabukasan.

    Red sauce ingredients:
    4 cloves of garlic(minced)
    1 large onion(chopped)
    1 corned beef(100g)(Note: you can also use ground pork)
    6 pcs hotdog

    Each episode of Cooking at 65mph features a touring musician cooking their signature dish that they prepare while on tour. In this episode, Andrew Pugh, guitarist for the rock band, Otherwise, prepares some chicken with cheesy potatoes and sauteed vegetables, on his band's tour bus.

    Electric skillet
    Steak knife

    Chicken breast - 3
    Bacon - 3 strips
    Spinach - 1/4 cup
    Onion - 1 large
    Bell pepper - 1/2 a pepper
    Potato - 2
    White cheddar cheese - 1/3 cup
    Garlic salt - to your liking
    Black pepper - to your liking
    All-purpose seasoning - to your liking

    Cooking Directions (demonstrated in the video):
    1. Chop up your onion and bell pepper into small chunks.
    2. Start your skillet and then add your onion, bell pepper, spinach and bacon.
    3. Cook your toppers (sauteed vegetables) for 5 to 10 minutes. Stir frequently.
    4. While your vegetables are cooking, season your chicken with garlic salt, black pepper and all-purpose seasoning.
    5. Put your potatoes into the microwave. After around 5 minutes, check on them and continue to heat until thoroughly cooked.
    6. Chop up your cheese into small pieces.
    7. Once your toppers are cooked, put them off to the side. Leave a little bit on the skillet to cook with the chicken.
    8. Add your chicken to the skillet and cook for 5-8 minutes or until cooking all the way through.
    9. Once the potatoes are done, chop them to small pieces.
    10. Pull your cooked chicken off the skillet and then throw your potatoes onto the skillet.
    11. Add garlic salt, black pepper and all-purpose seasoning to the potatoes and cook until they get a little crispy.
    12. Plate your chicken, potatoes and toppers to your plate and add your cheese to the top of your potatoes.
    13. Enjoy!

  • Garlic Butter Shrimp | #EnaaCooks


    I was going to cook for Iftar and I decided to made a video! This is one of my fav recipe that I made countless of times! Plus I just really love Shrimps!! Ingredients and steps are listed below!

    Ingredients -
    Olive Oil
    500grams of Shrimps, peeled with tail on.
    1 teaspoon of Salt and Pepper
    1 tablespoon of Dried or Fresh Parsley
    2 tablespoon of Butter
    6 cloves of Garlic and 6 Cili Padi

    Steps -
    Heat Olive Oil in a medium skillet.
    Once the oil has heated up, add in the shrimps and cook for about 3-4 minutes.
    Add in the butter. Stir and let the butter melt.
    Then add in your Garlic and Cili padi
    Lastly add in Salt, Pepper and Parsley. Stir and coat everything.
    And you're done! Serve with Rice, add it to your Salads or simply eat it on it's own!

    12 Grain Bread - 2 pieces
    Egg Whites - 138 grams
    Egg - 1
    Ghirardelli 60% Cacao Bittersweet Chocolate Chips - 8 chips
    Cooking Spray (optional)
    Walden Farms Pancake Syrup (optional)

    Cooking Directions (demonstrated in the video):
    1. Prepare portable flat-top griddle by preheating to the griddle's maximum temperature.
    2. Crack one egg into a bowl. Then, set scale to zero and add 138 grams of egg whites into the bowl.
    3. Whisk the egg and egg whites together until thoroughly mixed.
    4. Dip both pieces of bread until the whisked eggs until soaked.
    5. Spray flat-top griddle with cooking spray and then add both pieces of soaked bread to the griddle.
    6. Press in all 8 chocolate chips in the bread (4 in each pieces). Be careful not to burn yourself.
    7. Cook each side of the bread until golden brown and crispy.
    8. Add desired amount of pancake syrup. (optional)
    9. Enjoy!

    Minced Beef - Shan Hkat

    1. Beef (Minced) (Dum su shan)
    2. Salt (Jum)
    3. Oil (Salt)
    4. Laksa leaf (Mahkaw nam)
    5. Chilli (Ma jap)
    6. Dry sour fruit (Tsi ni si Jahkraw)
    7. Garlic (Shakau hpraw)
    8. Ginger (Shanam)

    Pound chilli, garlic, ginger, salt and laksa leaf together and marinate the beef in a mixing bowl.
    Add oil into the marinated beef and cook for about 5 minutes.
    After 5 minutes, when the beef is half cooked. Add boiled water and cover it.

  • Pasta alla Carbonara Recipes


    Classic Carbonara


    1/2 pound pancetta or thick cut bacon, diced
    1-2 garlic cloves, minced, about 1 teaspoon (optional)
    1 Tbsp olive oil or unsalted butter (optional)
    3-4 whole eggs
    1 cup grated parmesan or pecorino cheese
    1 pound spaghetti pasta (or bucatini or fettuccine)
    Salt and black pepper to taste


    1) Heat pasta water: Put a large pot of salted water on to boil (1 Tbsp salt for every 2 quarts of water.)

    2) Sauté pancetta/bacon and garlic: While the water is coming to a boil, heat the olive oil in a large sauté pan over medium heat. Add the bacon or pancetta and cook slowly until crispy. Add the garlic (if using) and cook another minute, then turn off the heat and put the pancetta and garlic into a large bowl.

    3) Beat eggs and half of the cheese: In a small bowl, beat the eggs and mix in about half of the cheese.

    4) Cook pasta: Once the water has reached a rolling boil, add the dry pasta, and cook, uncovered, at a rolling boil.

    5) Toss pasta with pancetta/bacon: When the pasta is al dente (still a little firm, not mushy), use tongs to move it to the bowl with the bacon and garlic. Let it be dripping wet. Reserve some of the pasta water. Move the pasta from the pot to the bowl quickly, as you want the pasta to be hot. It's the heat of the pasta that will heat the eggs sufficiently to create a creamy sauce. Toss everything to combine, allowing the pasta to cool just enough so that it doesn't make the eggs curdle when you mix them in. (That's the tricky part.)

    6) Add the beaten egg mixture: Add the beaten eggs with cheese and toss quickly to combine once more. Add salt to taste. Add some pasta water back to the pasta to keep it from drying out.

    Serve at once with the rest of the parmesan and freshly ground black pepper.

    If you want, sprinkle with a little fresh chopped parsley.

    Eggs - 4
    Turkey bacon - 3 strips
    Cheddar cheese - 1 1/2 cups
    Milk - 1/4 cup
    Tomato - 1/3 cup
    Spinach - 1/2 cup
    Green onion - 1/3 cup
    Cooking spray
    Seasoned salt - to your liking
    Pepper - to your liking
    Hot sauce (optional)
    Ketchup (optional)

    Cooking Directions (demonstrated in the video):
    1. Get out skillet and electric double burner, as well as all of your ingredients.
    2. After preheating your skillet, drop three slices of turkey bacon into the pan.
    3. Cook the bacon until it looks a little burned. That way, it is a bit crispy.
    4. Once bacon is fully cooked, remove bacon from the skillet and drain the grease off of it using a plate and paper towel.
    5. Crack 4 eggs into a bowl (be careful not to get the shells in the bowl) and add 1/4 of a cup of milk to the bowl.
    6. Whip the eggs and milk together until thoroughly mixed.
    7. Use cooking spray to coat the pan. This way, your eggs won't stick while cooking the omelette.
    8. While you're waiting for your skillet to preheat again, crumble up your bacon. Also, use this time to dice your tomato and chop your spinach.
    9. Add your egg/milk mixture to your preheated skillet.
    10. Move the eggs around while cooking (almost like you're making scrambled eggs) to make sure your omelette doesn't come out runny.
    11. Add your cheese, seasoned salt, and pepper to the eggs.
    12. Once the cheese has melted and right before you're ready to flip, add your spinach, green onion, tomato and bacon.
    13. Flip your omelette and put it on your plate.
    14. Add hot sauce and ketchup to your liking.

    Use pasta of your choice

    Red Sauce Ingredients:

    6 pounds (approximately 8) heirloom tomatoes
    1 cup olive oil
    6 garlic cloves, sliced
    1½ teaspoons chile flakes
    1 teaspoon Kosher salt
    4 basil sprigs, leaves left on stems
    Kosher salt and sugar, to taste

    Meatballs Ingredients::

    1 lb ground beef
    1/2 cup breadcrumbs
    1 or 2 large egg
    1/2 half cup Chopped yellow onion eye
    2 Chopped clove of garlic
    1/2 cup Parmesan cheese use real Parmigiano-Reggiano
    Italian parsley chopped, around two tablespoons worth


    1. Bring a medium pot of water to boil. Meanwhile, cut an “X” across the top of each tomato. Prepare an ice bath in a bowl and set it next to the stove.

    2. Working in batches, submerge each tomato into boiling water for 30 to 45 seconds until the skin around the cut starts to pull back from the flesh. Immediately transfer the tomatoes to the ice bath and allow to cool for a moment. Remove the skins from the tomatoes and discard. Roughly chop the tomatoes, removing the cores and any tough pieces that remain, and discard.

    3. In a large Dutch oven or heavy-bottomed pot over medium heat, add the olive oil, garlic and chile flakes. Cook for 1 to 2 minutes, allowing the garlic to become fragrant but careful not to burn the chile flakes.

    4. Add the chopped tomatoes, salt and basil to the pot, stirring to combine. Allow the sauce to simmer, stirring often to prevent burning.

    5. After 1 hour, remove and discard the basil. Continue cooking the sauce over medium heat.


    Add ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, cheese, and parsley into a mixing bowl. Add eggs.

    Mix by hand (and your fingertips) to incorporate ingredients rather than using a spoon or spatula makes it easier to mix without it turning it into an overworked meat paste.

    Roll meatballs to the size of a large egg, about ⅓ cup or 3 ounces in weight.

    Line a baking sheet with foil, evenly space the meatballs on the sheet.

    Set the oven rack to the lower-middle position.

    Broil on high and cook the meatballs until browned about 10 minutes.

    Turn over and cook for an additional 2 to 3 minutes.

    Add meatballs to the tomato sauce or I Iike to bake meatballs for a few minutes and add to sauce a little later

    Cover, with the lid slightly ajar and simmer on low heat for at least 1 ½ hours, checking and stirring every 20 minutes, or as needed.

    Remove the meatballs from the sauce and place into a separate bowl, cover to keep warm.

    Mix the sauce; adjust consistency with small amounts of water if too thick.

    Taste sauce and adjust with salt and pepper as desired.

    Garnish with fresh basil and Parmesan cheese!

    Hello everybody, this is Major7even!

    I can't believe I'm actually uploading this video. It took me FOREVER to finish it. But I'm really satisfied with the result.

    If you want to learn how to prepare a carbonara while singing, this is your chance.


    Two eggs, you’re also gonna need pepper and salt
    Cheek clard, italian cheese from sheep’s milk, that’s it
    Take the red part of the egg, that’s yolk!
    Keep some white to make it more creamy
    Beat them now add the grated cheese and ground pepper
    Put it a bain-marie and whisk it for a min

    Now take your time to fill a pot with litres of water
    Heat it to the point where it boils and salt it
    Put some spaghetti into that boiling wonderful water
    They should cook until they’re al dente, taste them.

    Did you remember to cut the cheek lard into sticks?
    But don’t cut them too thin or they’ll bur in hell

    Frying pan, all you need, don’t have to add butter and oil
    cook it over moderate heat and stir it
    Until it is crispy on the outside, not on the inside
    make it cool down and divide the sticks and the fat

    Now it’s time to take the pasta and drain over a bowl

    But first remember to keep a cup of cooking water
    You’ll need it if the whole thing becomes too stiff
    Turn off the flame because you won’t need no heat
    but the one that pasta itself will emanate

    Put the pasta in a pot
    add the cream you’ve prepared
    add the fat of the cheek
    lard that you’ve been keeping
    stir the whole thing and put
    the sticks you’ve been saving
    pour some cooking water
    if it is not creamy

    Now it's time to serve in a dish you’re ready to eat it
    Be sure to invite some friends don’t be greedy
    Once in the dish you can add some more grated cheese
    and some more ground pepper, as you like, well, now

    That’s how you cook Carbonara

    2-3 sliced of Butter
    Ham- depends how many you want
    1 medium size onion
    6 fresh mushroom or 1 can mushroom (drained the liquid)
    1 290ml cream of mushroom (any brand)
    1 cup all-purpose cream
    1/2 teaspn salt
    1/4 teaspn pepper
    Pinch of basil (optional)
    1/2 tsp sugar (optional)
    Chopped parsley-(put before or upon serving)
    Grated parmesan cheese (put befor or upon serving)

    Serving : 2-4persons

    You can add butter, salt, pepper, cheese and ham according to your taste.

  • Best Idea for Leftover Pasta Sauce!


    This is a great alternative to pasta when you have leftover sauce.

  • Nutter Cooking: Bolognese


    Bolognese is one of the more famous Italian sauces and it is in the list of 'comfort foods' for many people, independent of where they are living.
    I am a passionate cook and I love pasta sauces. This is my personal variation. Please, do not look for the authenticity, because even Italian cooks can have a dispute of how it should be... Right, that was my disclaimer. Now, the fun part.


    You can use whatever pasta you like of a substantial size - spaghetti, linguini, penne, farfalle, fetucinni - they will all work. Although the classic is spaghetti. Cook it following the instructions on the packet.


    Grated parmesan cheese to serve with... although I like experimenting with other types of cheese. I am cow milk intolerant, so anything coat or sheep made works just fine.


    500g of ground beef (fatty, none of that low fat - it has no flavour and you end up having to add more oil and cheese)

    1 X 450g tin of tomatoes (plum or chopped)

    2 X TBSps of tomato paste

    175ml (small glass) or red wine (use good quality wine, not the 3-day-old ends of everything you drank over the weekend that went sour)

    1/2 of a beef stock cube

    200ml of hot water (to dissolve the beef stock)

    Olive cooking oil for frying onions and garlic (not Extra Virgin - it is a waste to heat that)


    1 X medium size onion
    1/2 of a head of garlic (3-4 cloves)
    1 X carrot
    1/2 of courgette (small)
    5 X small button mushrooms
    1 X red pepper


    Black pepper corns crushed. However, it is nice to mix it with some other pepper corns - white/red/green.

    Little Salt (I prefer Himalayan, but sea salt or table salt at the very least) there s salt in many other ingredients, so don't overdo it!

    1 gentle Indian chilly (strength of 2 out of 5)

    2 cm (about the size of a heaped table spoon) chunk of ginger, crushed.

    Herbs (preferably all fresh, but if you use dry, try to get hold of those dried on branches... at the very least jarred herbs can be used, but you may need more of them)

    1-2 bayleaves
    Branch of Rosemary (fresh or dry)
    5-6 twigs of Thyme (fresh or dry)
    1 TBsp of Dried Basil
    2 decent size branches of Oregano (fresh or dried)

    Fresh parsley and basil to add at the end or to garnish when serving.

    Ingredients: 1 lb Cooked Spaghetti, 3 to 4 Chopped Scallions, 1 Cucumber, 1 Paprika

    1. Combine peanut butter, soy sauce in a bowl. Stir and repeat until peanut butter is melted.
    2. Stir in remaining sauce ingredients.
    3. Pour over spaghetti and mix thoroughly.
    4. Top with scallions, cucumbers and paprikas. Serve cold.
